Our room was fantastic with an incredible view and super comfortable with all necessities inside. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and memorable stay!❤️😍

Hið 4-stjörnu Hotel Diplomat Plaza er staðsett í miðbæ Lukovit. Það er með heilsulind, upphitaða innisundlaug og ókeypis WiFi á öllum svæðum. Amazing place, truly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. The style is that of a Las Vegas hotel, with rich decorations, themed rooms and halls, multiple works of art on diplay (most of them can be purchased) even in rooms. Large rooms, large bathrooms all amenities functional, most of the staff capable of speaking English. The hotel is a most unlikely appearance for such a small provincial town in the northern ( less developed) part of Bulgaria. I think it serves a starting ground for many guided tour activities to the amazing neighboring natural area of the Prohodna Cave. It serves thus, mainly groups of wealthy foreign tourists. The spa area is also nice. The parking area is sufficient. I only stayed here for one night as a rest stop on our returning route from Greece, but I'll be coming back for sure.

Situated in Apriltsi, Семеен хотел 1876 offers 2-star accommodation with a restaurant and a bar. Located around 17 km from Troyan Monastery, the hotel is also 40 km away from Botev Peak. There was a offer for breakfast but we didn't took it.

Situated in Ribarica, Вила 11 - семейна почивка в сърцето на Балкана features accommodation with spa facilities, wellness packages and a fitness room. Lovely house with big bedrooms in a quiet area close to the river. Felt like at home with well stocked essentials like sunflower oil, napkins, cups, 4 coffee capsules, etc. The TV was smart with YouTube, Netflix, etc. and the WiFi worked well in all rooms. There were occasional cats visiting us while we were sitting outside but they were very cute and seemed domesticated and fun to play with for a few minutes. They contributed to the feeling at home. The path up the road goes into the mountains and was a great 1.5 hours 6km walk (there and back) which was not very steep, just perfect for a short hike by the river in great scenery (we even saw 3 wil deer twice each time we went for a walk!). Everything was very clean and there were leaflets with great recommendations on what sights you can visit within 2 hours drive. The heating was turned on so the whole house was warm and cozy when we got there. They also let us leave a few hours later since the house was not occupied on the following day. We didn't light the fireplace but there was plenty of wood chopped and ready to use, if needed. The introductory message sent by the host made me tear up a bit with the amazingly well poetically written ideas/narrative on disconnecting, lighting the fireplace and truly enjoying the house and the surrounding nature. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer to test the barbeque outside and the green scenery.

Located in Ribarica in the Lovech Province region, Балкан вили features a balcony and lake views. A sauna and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. Hosts were super friendly, the villas are well maintained and have everything you would need. SPA and jacuzzi were a welcome addition. Good restaurants in proximity, very quiet area, easy to reach.

Tucked between the reserves Kashka, Vasilyov and Goat Wall and featuring a year-round outdoor pool and a spa, Hotel Alfaresort Thermal Chiflika offers accommodation in Chiflik. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, not too much diversity, still enough to start the day with energy. On the other side, the dinner buffet was excellent, many options to chose from. The SPA was great and the small pool with thermal water at ~40 degrees just next to the bigger pool with regular, cold water was an interesting experience, if you dare to swim in both pools. The hotel has also a kids corner, a room designated as a play area with many toys.

Beli Osum Ostrova Holiday Village er með veitingastað með sýningareldamennsku sem framreiðir búlgarska og alþjóðlega matargerð. Það er einnig með árstíðabundna útisundlaug og innisundlaug. It was peaceful and quiet. Nice spa facilities. Not overcrowded. I had very good massage. Good breakfast and dinner selection. Not expensive wine list. Good surprise! We’ll go again!

Hotel "Balkan" er staðsett í Troyan Balkan, 3 km frá. frá miðju þorpsins Chiflik. This was a great outside spa vacation 😌

Planinata er nútímalegur búlgarskur heilsulindardvalarstaður sem byggður var árið 2010 og er í 5 km fjarlægð frá Ribarica. Glæsileg vellíðunaraðstaðan innifelur heitan pott, gufubað og nuddstofu. The location was perfect for us to go around. Near Teteven Saeva dupka near very nice villages.
