Right on the shores of Lake Lugano and within walking distance of the Old Town of Lugano, the 5-star Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola is set within a private, subtropical park. - we loved our rooms, very spacious - we got a free room upgrade (we had 3 rooms) - super friendly staff! Very helpful. - breakfast was nice - housekeeping cleaned the rooms twice a day with turndown service which we loved!! - there was always a gift in the room, like chocolate, cake, fruits, etc.. - very thoughtful management - rooms had huge balconies in the suits. - we enjoyed the new year’s eve dinner, the kitchen was very accommodating of our needs and requests.

It’s incredible classic hotel with stunning view. All the staff are very nice and welcoming. Amazing pool and comfortable sun beds. Live music and very romantic dinner area. Perfect location, it’s very close to Lugano and in the same time is very calm and relaxing. Thanks to Jasmin that grows near the pool, the smell was so good! Perfect place to relax in summer and winter!
