Every single team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to making guests feel welcome. A special shoutout to Reuben at check-in, who made all the difference for us. Since we were only staying for one night, he took the time to guide us through the best ways to enjoy our short stay. His recommendations were spot on, and thanks to him, we made the most of our time at the resort. As someone with a background in food service, I was particularly impressed with the buffet's attention to food safety. The cold items were kept at proper temperatures using a specialized refrigerated display, ensuring freshness and safety. The hot dishes were beautifully presented in covered warmers, maintaining their heat and quality. This level of care in food presentation is commendable. If your budget allows, I highly recommend opting for the adults-only rooms. These accommodations offer exclusive access to a private pool, a cold tub with jets, and a bar, all conveniently close to the beach. It added an extra layer of relaxation and luxury to our stay. The Italian restaurant is a must-visit, offering delectable dishes that delighted our palates. However, my absolute favorite amenities were the 24-hour room service and the coffee bar. The coffee bar served the best coffee I had during our entire visit; the beans were rich and expertly prepared, making each cup a true delight. The resort itself is beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms, great dining options, and a stunning beach. But what truly sets this place apart is the amazing service. We left wishing we could have stayed longer!

We really liked this place. Beachfront, clean, and the staff was super friendly. Is also close to Puerto Plata city in car. We would definitely come back (it's in front of Ocean World and we didn't take that into account) and we recommend.

The 2 bedroom suites are large and have plenty of room for my family and the amenities at the hotel are great!!! The hotel is very clean and the staff is super attentive and helpful. The rooms have a kitchen and there is a market close by so that a family does not need to eat at a restaurant for every meal. But the thing my family loves the most about the hotel is the pools. The hotel has several of them and the children play in them all day long. Somedays it has the feel of a private villa with a private pool We are already counting down the days to our next vacation at the hotel.

Activities that can be enjoyed in the surroundings, include cycling, horse riding and fishing. The property offers free parking. Everything was great. The hotel was very clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the location is excellent — close to restaurants and the beach. We stayed only one day, and when our flight was cancelled, the staff kindly allowed us to stay at the hotel until 4:00 pm for only $16 per person. The breakfast was also very delicious.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada is located in Vuelta Larga, 14 km from Sosúa. The hotel has a spa centre and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Very spacious and lots of facilities. Very friendly staff

The reception guys were so great, the waiters at the restaurant of the hotel are very friendly. English speakers which is not that common in Dominican Republic. Food is nice and the hotel itself is like in the middle of paradise. Very private and chill. The rooms are very good and quiet. Would definitely recommend to stay here, fair price in my opinion for the stay and the services (Jakuzi and meals). They even have like a small garage and helped us with our car which had a problem. Amazing staff members and place. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🫶
