First class hotel - staff and facilities are outstanding as is the location. We upgraded for ocean view rooms which was worth it. Food in restaurant was excellent, especially the Sunday brunch buffet with live music.

Everything was just great! The location of the house was very convenient, not far from the airport and touristic places. The room has been renovated and furnisthed recently, it was done nicely and it was very clean. Laura was always available and she gave us really good tips about places to see which made our trip very efficient and unforgettable.

The minute we pulled into the hotel, it was medieval-beautiful. A castle-like structure housing the redemption desk, restaurants, and spa. They immediately took us to the long balcony to have a complimentary drink. Then we were shown our rooms! We had a wonderful terrace and my son and girlfriend had a balcony with two lounge chairs- both overlooking the grounds and the Mediterranean. We needed to relax, and this place was perfect for the two days we had there. We lounged on their private beach, swam in the heated pool, and used the spa. Our last night, the kind consierge reserved the Maison restaurant within walking distance- we loved the food. Btw the hotel tasting menu was incredible and was so much food!

I loved everything about this property. Peacefully tucked away in the hills of La Garde-Freinet, you’re immediately met with the smell of the fresh garden, and lovely sounds of happy birds. The room was clean and fresh and you have temperature control inside of your suite. Big open bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. The pool is so beautiful and taken good care of. Lovely communal sitting area to enjoy breakfast or just to enjoy the day. They made us a quaint, delicious breakfast every morning that brought a smile to my face every time. The fresh lemons from the trees on the property in your water is a must!! We met a lovely couple who were also staying at Pontillaou, that told us stories about where they’re from and gave some good bits of travel advice. We fell in love with our sweet hosts who were so attentive and kind and very respectful in every way you could imagine. We had great chats with them and I genuinely cannot wait to cross paths with them again. So much love for this beautiful place and people!!

It’s an exceptional place with above and beyond hosts, attention to details, splendid views, excellent breakfast and top notch recommendation from the binder and from the hosts. I only wish we booked a longer stay - 3 days should have been 5-6. Thank you for this miracle, looking forward to be back again.
