The highlights were definitely the own sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub in a separate little shed across the garden. We had gone to Loch Lomond to hike and these installations were so relaxing for our aching bones. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy and our warm-hearted host Eddie kept enquiring whether we needed anything. A plus were the lovely view and Eddie’s sheep and his two cute dogs. Absolutely recommended!

This darling cottage near the town of Drymen is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host is hospitable and helpful. Nice place to stay if walking the West Highland Trail. Food available at the nearby golf course.

Rooms at Cameron House have a flat-screen TV with satellite and some Sky channels. A tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. Beds are adorned with Egyptian cotton sheets, bathrobes and complimentary ESPA toiletries.

The rooftop infinity pool has spectacular views over Loch Lomond. There is the 18-hole championship golf course and the exclusive spa at The Carrick features 17 treatment rooms. Location is great. We had a very nice room with view on the lake. We enjoyed the High Tea Experience in the afternoon of our arrival with many delicious spicy and sweet bites. Loma restaurant for dinner was amazing. We had the summer tasting menu and the vegetable tasting menu. The vegetarian version was very sophisticated and a pleasure to eat (not an alibi menu as it can be found in many places). The service was very attentive. We played a round of golf (which is a bit away from the hotel along the road). Carrick Golf course is an interesting one, with some challenges and beautiful views.
