Whether you travel to Newcastle for business or pleasure, we have an excellent range of facilities at Crowne Plaza Newcastle. The room, the en-suite and the furniture was great. The bed large and very comfortable. Many pillows provided. The TV was very good (but didn't use it much). The en-suite was excellent and there were both a shower and a bath tub. I used both, and was very pleased also with the variety of towels and soaps provided. The breakfast was fantastic. A very large selection of food and drinks to choose from, and all of a very high quality!

Offering inner courtyard views, GAINESVILLE is an accommodation located in South Shields, 15 km from Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and 15 km from Sage Gateshead. The instructions for arrival were spot on. Not really knowing what to expect as it is difficult to google the precise location, it was a very pleasant surprise when we first entered the house. It is like a Tardis, very well equipped, large spacious bedrooms with massive comfortable beds. Everywhere was clean and the house was nice and warm when we arrived. The location was good and had plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, Aldi and KFC within 5 minutes walk. The beach was approx. 20-25 minutes walk. All in all a great house which is good value for money.

In 12 acres of parkland next to Newcastle Racecourse, this 4-star Grand Hotel Gosforth Park is just 10 minutes’ drive from Newcastle’s centre. Room only for the Great North Run. The man on reception was so helpful and accommodating with our last minute request to change one of our room bookings from 2 to 1 night (unlike Booking.com's ridiculous rule which means you can only change all the rooms or none of the rooms).
