Very unassuming from the outside, but the interior has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Blending old and new, Unfound Door has created one of the most stunning hotels you'll ever stay in. The staff are attentive and courteous. The in-house restaurant has amazing food. The rooms are beautiful and functional. The bed looks squeezed into the nook in pictures, but it doesn't feel that way in person. It's a good use of space to maximise the size of the bathroom, which has a generously sized shower cubicle (overhead and handheld fixtures) and shelved storage for cosmetics, etc. There's no wardrobe, but there's a hanging rail over the console table, which was adequate for a couple of items. A wardrobe would have made the room much smaller, so I didn't mind this compromise. Overall, a wonderful stay.

I initially booked 1 night at this hotel after arriving from a long trip. My plan was to go stay at another place for the following days. However, I had a delightful first night and proceeded to book another 3 nights to cover the rest of my stay. The staff at this hotel welcomed me very warmly, immediately shared the WiFi password with me, and explained the hotel facilities. The room was very clean and appropriately stocked with all the basics, including a full mini-bar. I liked the fact that I could control the thermostat and turn it off. Many hotels in Georgia have automatic heating in the room which makes it too hot. In this hotel, I could turn it off and have a cooler room. The room has a modern TV, so you can easily watch Netflix, YouTube etc. The bed was very comfortable, I prefer a firmer mattress - so this helped me have a great sleep. The bathroom is supplied with quality soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. I have also stayed at hotels around Rustaveli street, and I prefer this location in Chugureti. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide array of fresh, high-quality options to choose from. In every aspect, from the luxurious facilities to the personal touches from the staff, our stay at Swissôtel Tbilisi was exceptional. We left feeling thoroughly cared for and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a five-star experience in the heart of the city.
