Nice and quiet beach, you feel like you are alone in your tent. Staff was amazing and attentive, especially Umberto the GM who went out of his way to make it an extra special experience for my husband birthday. Definitely a hidden gem, will recommend to all friends.

Facilities were amazing, food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and beyond happy to help. Room was very unique and the beds were very comfortable. Mini swimming pool in the bathroom was amazing and so was the main swimming pool.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Wow, this place blew our minds. Absolutely stunning resort right on the beach - even better than pictured. The food was also sensational (fried butter prawns in particular), rooms beautiful and the staff rounded out the experience. All of the staff were lovely and went over and above to ensure we had a great stay. Ruchi (the animator) was a highlight. He proactively engaged my three year old son on the first day and by day two were fast friends - making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. We were there for 3 nights and while I normally want to get out and about - I was really happy to spend the whole time at the resort. Can’t recommend Maalu Maalu any higher

Excellent Location !! No disturbances on the beach at all !! Very seldom you find something like this for yourself only. Very peaceful and great place to stay !! The Sunny weather and sandy beach was a perfect location for our stay ! We prefer privacy for our stay and which we found at Giman Free Beach Resort. Great staff and free wi fi, great sea food straight from the local fisher folk from the daily catch !! We were told there is traditional Ayurveda treatment at the Resort by our friendly UK guest at the Resort but we did not have time to experience same. We will be back next year !!

A splendid outdoor pool resides between the beach and Amaya Beach Passikudah, a resort offering spacious rooms and suites with private balconies and free WiFi. The resort is really beautiful and amazingly cared for. The level of investment in the small details is very serious. The staff is kind and happy to help, including the managers who helped with every request. Very tasty food at a decent price

Sunrise Pasikuda er staðsett í Pasikuda, nokkrum skrefum frá Pasikuda-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, heilsuræktarstöð og garði. We spent three nights at Sunrise Pasikuda and it was perfect. The hotel is immaculate and our room (we had a family suite) was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom and two toilets, and a big balcony. We loved the little extras like the fruit plate and flowers on the bed. The location is great. The hotel has a huge pool which leads down to the hotel beach which is clean and quiet with a beach bar. You can do water sports and we did a boat trip that took us to local reefs with excellent snorkelling. We had all our meals here and I can’t fault the food. Breakfast and dinner are buffets with wide choice and there was entertainment every evening. We liked playing pool although the pool cues need an update. What made our stay so special was the staff at the hotel. They are so warm and welcoming and just want you to have a great time. We will definitely return.

It does not give the feeling we are in a hotel as it’s in the midst of a big property. Friendly staff and mouth watering food.
