We stayed for 3 days in this little paradise very close to Oaxaca. Close enough to go for a day in the city but in the middle of nature. The small village has enough restaurants to entertain you and the cocktailbar is amazing. Also a perfect spot for day trips to highlights like Hierve el Agua, Milta, various Mescal distilleries etc. Like many others said, the food is absolutely fantastic. It’s hard to describe the excellence. Fernando and Fernanda are very welcoming and great hosts. We can not recommend it enough.

We loved this beautiful hotel, the small size, the architectural design, the location on a side street close to the beach, the lovely room and bathroom, hammock on the balcony, and the restaurant was amazing!

Exceptional service by all staff. Lu, the general manager of the hotel, is spectacular. She is super efficient and helpful and always with a smile. Jesus the groundskeeper was a joy to chat with, never a frown on his face. The same can be said for the restaurant / bar staff especially Edwin and Jose. Thanks everyone for a great stay.

This was a great find! The property is absolutely beautiful and all of the bungalows are amazing. The ground floor units have A/C, but the upper units have amazing airflow and patios, and you can request an extra fan. Very unique and superb attention to detail. The amenities with the beach bar and restaurant on site were 10 out of 10. Very short walk to the main street and a lovely beach. The pool was generally deserted and absolutely gorgeous. A nice respite from the heat on the beach. Many thanks to Pedro and all of the staff. We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary in Zipolite and we were treated to a nice surprise of complementary wine and impeccable service. There is some noise at night from neighboring clubs, but the fans and the earplugs tend to drown it out! This is a lively fun place to be in Mexico, even if you are not a nudist. Rent a scooter from the reception and drive up to Mazunte and San Augustinillo. Lots of cute areas neighboring Zipolite that are worth checking out.

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. Samora is a perfect location to relax, located at one of the best beaches of the area. The staff is forthcoming and very friendly. We felt immediately at home. The room exceeded our expectations, with nice ocean views. We definitely will come back!
