The staff was very helpful and always very nice, specially Sofia who did our check in and saw us everyday at breakfast! The breakfast was good, although it could have more variety. The rooms are spacious and very confortable, and we had a balcony with a beautiful view over Covilhã!

It was an amazing stay in the mountains. We regret that we booked only one night. The restaurant is incredibly tasty and the view is marvelous. Every particular detail is super beautiful and comfortable. The simple aesthetics are everywhere, and the staff are super nice and helpfull.

Casas da Lapa er nútímalegt hótel sem er fullkomlega staðsett á hæð, innan Serra da Estrela-náttúrugarðsins. Það er staðsett í dæmigerðu fjallaþorpi, Lapa dos Dinheiros. The staff is very frindly and hosting, I felt like I was a guest that had been waited. Hotel administration truly values your stay and comfort and offers room upgrade when they have spare. It is also notable in every detail. Feela like all hotel, service and atmosphere is a guest oriented. The hoter exterior and interior design is decent and minimalistic, made with nature materials and colors, that helps you to relax from eye pollution. The restaurant service and food are great and delicious, I even tried currant (which I haven't been able to find for a long time). Moreover, the location is perfect: you live in a small village in 5star hotel observing picturesque viewes and having beautiful hiking trails nereby.

Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.

Spacious rooms. Free use of pool and sauna. Great location in the Serra da Estrela National Park. Fridge in the room. The hotel had a restaurant with very good food. Free parking. Free and fast WiFi.

Lusitânia Hotel offers rooms with private balconies, just 10 minutes by car from Guarda’s historic city centre. It offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools and an extensive spa area. Great breakfast had ample parking staff at restaurant were very nice
