Located on the north bank of the Kwai Yai River, this contemporary lodge-style resort features an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Set amidst landscaped gardens. Very quiet location, a bit outside the main town but only a short stroll from the bridge on the river Kwai and a train stop (we took the train back to Bangkok Thonburi from there). Very nice garden and hotel, our room was lovely, very stylish. The staff are very efficient and helpful, and very kind. The buffet breakfast is excellent value and what a pleasure to start the day with a tasty breaky with such a view of the river! Pool area is pleasant and very well maintained, there are loungers and umbrellas as well as bean bags so ample space to relax and enjoy. We asked the receptionists to help us book a car with driver for the visits and activities we had planned and we couldn't be happier with the service: our driver was just perfect, very discreet but also willing to share information when needed, careful and kind. The price was reasonable for such a quality of service, especially compared to prices in Europe... I also booked an aromatherapy massage and I can honestly say it was one of the best I ever had, total bliss.

Very friendly staff, the lady at the reception was so nice and helpful. She also gave us a lot of practical information that helped a lot. The hotel is new and super clean with a nice swimming pool. One of the best stays that we had in Thailand so far. And the location is very good. Near to the River Kwai bridge and the railway station. Everything was perfect here. I can fully recommend this hotel.

Royal Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located along the banks of River Kwai. It features spacious accommodation with private balconies and the luxury of an outdoor pool. Love this beautiful place. Everything was spit on. It is a little out of the way but that is exactly what we were after. Many thanks to the wonderful staff.

Located just 1.5 km from Kanchanaburi Railway Station, baan in kan homestay&cafe kanchanaburi city features accommodation in Kanchanaburi with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared... You had your own private space and bathroom and outside areas to relax in too. The property had a locked gate and CCTV camera out front which made it feel safe. The room was clean and towels, dental kits, shower caps/ gels/ shampoo / conditioner were provided as well as a hair dryer.
