Located along the shores of Uruguay's Rio de la Plata, Carmelo Resort & Spa features an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a gym and a restaurant in Carmelo. The hotel is more beautiful that it looks in the pictures. Things like the spa and restaurant are not represented in the online pictures of the resort - which is too bad. The pool area is also very nice.

Nice facilities, the outside and inside pools are good size and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, very tasty with a huge variety of things to choose from. The play room was a plus for us.

Matatagpuan sa Colonia del Sacramento at maaabot ang Rowing Beach sa loob ng 3 minutong lakad, ang Nuevo Hotel Beltran ay naglalaan ng mga concierge service, mga non-smoking na kuwarto, hardin,... Breakfast was good, standard pastries/fruit/meat/cheese/juice/coffee/tea. Room was cute and quiet. AC worked well. It is an old hotel so things are old.. and that is part of the charm. The bathroom shower and sink and toilet are modern. The staff were helpful. The hotel is right next to/connected to Archie's restaurant which was excellent for 'fast food' type meals - very good atmosphere and reasonable prices and tasty dishes and good portions. Good value for the money. Convenient location about under 1 km walk from the ferry terminal. (there are not very many taxis available from the ferry terminal or bus station so be prepared to walk with your luggage to the hotel if you have not rented a car or been lucky to find a taxi). Room on 2nd floor seemed secure.
