From the moment we arrived, the outstanding staff made us feel genuinely cared for. Andrew’s highly knowledgeable and engaging game drive was a highlight, while Bohle provided warm, attentive dinner service. Wendy welcomed us with professional grace as hostess, Diana added a wonderful personal touch at breakfast and lunch, and our personal chauffeur, Solomon, ensured seamless comfort throughout our stay. Julia at reception was equally attentive and efficient. The attention to detail and level of personal service were remarkable. Our room, complete with a stunning view and private jacuzzi, was pure indulgence. The restaurant offered excellent cuisine with a wonderful variety, complemented by a substantial wine list. Just 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg, you are transported to a serene gem in nature—perfectly disconnected from the outside world. Thanks a lot.

Sunrock Guesthouse offers free airport shuttle is available from and to OR Tambo International Airport, a barbecue and entertainment area, a fully-licensed bar and an outdoor pool. It’s about 10 minutes’ drive from the airport. The free shuttle to and from the airport saves me a lot of trouble. Another reason that keeps me coming back is their dinner buffet. It’s tasty and i can tell they put a lot of heart into it. If you go to the bar before dinner time, you can even see them grilling the steak. The buffet is something that you cannot miss. The rooms are situated in a beautiful garden. I enjoy myself very much just sitting by the pool. In the whole property, the wifi works well and the staff are friendly. I had a super early flight the first time i was in the guesthouse. The staff were so friendly that they packed the breakfast for me.

Receptionists, cooks and waiters were all absolutely amazing! I forgot my phone and they made sure I got it back safely Food was super tasty and beautifully presented. Spacious and lush rooms, loved the bathtub. Also loved the 2 turtles in the garden:)

The facilities were lovely , and the staff was out of this world, from the driver who picked us up at Nirox gate 3, to the farmhouse, to Nkateko who welcomed us and the sticks who took us to the waterfall and showed us around. In sum, it’s a great place to relax and connect with your friend/ partner , I’m even considering going back by myself.
