The rooms are quite big and the garden around the pool area is just stunning. There is also a three stories high lookout- perfect to enjoy your sundowner. I can really recommend this place

Spent 5 nights at this fabulous lodge. We did a number of full day or half day activities which the proprietor helped to arrange for us and every detail was worked out, ensuring all we had to do was relax and be wowed. Returning to the luxury of the lodge and cooling off in the pool and the stunning grounds was a perfect way to finish off those days. We supplemented the chilling out process with drinks from the expertly curated selection of fine South African wines or beers, spirits and soft drinks. The interior of the lodge and the private suite could only be described as luxurious opulence furnished with many beautiful African artefacts. And as if all of that is not enough we enjoyed ample beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts. We were also privileged to play host to families of nyalas and warthogs who visited the area just outside our bedroom window and patio doors to feast on fallen amarula fruits. Wow wow wow !!!

Special mention goes to Gert, the guide, is the nicest person and kindest soul, remarkably skilled, knowledgeable and professional, true well of information about animals and wild life, deeply passionate about his work and with a flair like he comes right from a Hollywood Golden Age movie!
