I chose this place because it was close to the Grand Seiko factory and it looked like a really nice place. The staff was amazing, super helpful and accommodating. The food was great. The onsen was great. I wish I could live there.

Very big space in the room which has a lake view. I am usually sceptical of buffet dinners, but the one at Shion was amazing - get the beef/steak which is cooked on the spot! There is also a washer (free but pay for detergent) and dryer (not free) available in the basement.
