We were especially charmed by the book-themed concept, it made the stay feel thoughtful and inspiring. I’m even more motivated now to improve my Japanese so I can enjoy some of the books next time! We were able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to see in the city from the hotel. Maybe it's because we love walking, but still, the location is truly great!

Since we didn't know this city at all, it was very helpful to receive a message from Mikiko telling us how to reach the Samurai house III from the train station. As soon as we emerged from the taxi, we were welcomed by Mikiko's staff. Everyone was very friendly and we had immediately the feeling to be at home. All the available equipment was shown to us and we were also told how to use everything. The house is really beautiful, with a superb interior design and a great attention to details. We've been traveling accros Japan for the last 15 years and Samurai Housse III is certainly the most beautiful and confortable accommodation we had the opportunity to stay in. The house is not far from a subway station, several konbini, restaurants and a very nice supermarket. Mikiko was always available to help us and answered all our requests very quickly. The next time we travel to Nagoya, we will most certainly stay again at Samurai House III. Thanks to Mikiko and her staff we were able to fully enjoy our stay in Nagoya. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the hotel has more than the standard facilities and the parking is free
