The house was a great place to stay, had everything we need for a 5 day stay. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were crisp and clean. Easy access from major highways and roads. Being surrounded by green country and horses was a plus.

So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!

It's a peaceful getaway located on a wonderful property in the town of Schilde. The generous hosts had supplied us with great information on the location and its surroundings. And we took full advantage of every amenitie the location had to offer. A 15-minute walk on broad and wide lanes brings you downtown, with a great bakery and bike rental place for easy access to the rest of town. It's definitely worth it to pop into Dellafaille Michel in the morning before you come back, jump in the pool, and then enjoy your coffee on the terrace in front of the cottage. We would recommend anyone passing by to make some time and treat yourself at this absolutely wonderful location.

The house is very well equipped (coffee machine, laundry machine..) including bicycle in all sizes and great games for teenagers (pingpong table, kika). All the rooms have blinds, and the whole house is easy to heat. It is a walking distance from a supermarket, a cafe and a bakery. The hosts are lovely. We were three generations together and everyone enjoyed, thank you very much!
