The terrace is amazing: Very nice view onto the lake!! Also, the beds are very comfortable. Host is really nice too and showed us around upon arrival. Really nice secluded romantic village. Good starting point for some hikes. The jacuzzi is also nice, although we didnt really use it.

Very spacious villa, with gorgeous views over lake Lugano. Marco, our host, is an amazing person, great with recommendations and always ready to help. The moment we stepped over the entrance door, we already were planning our return visit. Villa has a lot of history, and is modern at the same time.

We really enjoyed this property. The owners answered all our questions quickly, and were easy to communicate with. They gave us precise check-in instructions, even sent pictures. We were met upon arrival by the owner's Mom, who lives next door and we felt so welcome, she was very sweet. The house had everything we needed and was really clean. The bathrooms look newly renovated. The property is located only a block from the lake promenade. (There is a wonderful ice cream store just a block away). On a Saturday night, there was live music and great atmosphere, but once we returned home, it was surprisingly quiet. After closing the windows, we heard nothing and slept peacefully. The property has fans, and air conditioning to keep guests comfortable on hot days. There is private secure parking in the yard. It's such a cute home, in an equally cute town. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed a pleasant week in Porto Ceresio with our two kids. The house is situated in the old village center just some metres from the lake. It is a nicely renovated traditional house and everything is in place. Short term parking is available to unload the car and long term parking is not far away. Lovely place!

As tourist shops are around in case you want to stroll through the small village, you can extend the days with boating around on the lake, wander on the graveyards and above - yes, the village has a famous graveyard with spectacular graves and designs next to an impressive church etc. A MUST visit.

The hotel is on the border of the lake, with a really exotic and rare scenery: think of palm trees meet Swiss Alps meet all the really nice smelling flowers typical for Mediterranean area. Also the property has one of the best restaurants in the area, a bit pricey but I learned that in Switzerland you get what you pay for. I would recommend taking the hiking trails and do a tour up the mountain through the villas with the nicest garden I’ve ever seen.
