This accommodation was stellar - a fully equipped two-bedroom cabin approximately 50 meters from the Ounas River. The cabin was great - beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped with both appliances and dishes, along with a small washing machine. The electric sauna was perfect as well. The location of the property, about 30 km north of Rovaniemi, was easy to find once arriving at the village of Tapionkylä - with a supermarket just down the road for easy access to groceries. The sound of the river was just a delight. I would highly recommend this property again.

The cottage is in a pristine and peaceful location, right next to the lake and forest. In room sauna is a wonderful plus alongside with the great surroundings. The owner is very kind, we arrived Rovaniemi on Sat and then just found out the public bus runs only on weekdays, the owner is so kind to give us a ride on the tour bus that he is managing that day. Great thanks to him.

Very friendly host, spacious house with all the comfort you want after a day in the cold. We were a group of 3 friends and appreciated all the rooms and big kitchen. The house is 30-min walk or 5 min cab ride to the city center, and less than 10 min walking to a big grocery store, which makes it super convenient. The host offers lovely northern lights tours too :-) Kiitos!
