From the moment I arrived at this quintessential Normandy house, I was captivated by its profound sense of authenticity and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nestled in the picturesque heart of Normandy, this house is a true gem for anyone seeking a genuine experience of French country living. The coziness of the home is immediately palpable, with its meticulously maintained features that speak volumes of its heritage and the care put into its preservation. The centerpiece, an open fireplace, adds an incomparably cozy vibe that invites you to unwind and relax. On chilly evenings, the fireplace became our favorite gathering spot, where the crackling of the firewood and the soft glow of the flames created a perfect setting for family stories and laughter.

Host was onsite on arrival and was very welcoming and accommodating. Showed us around the beautiful property straight away.

Warm and cozy for an early spring break. A large very comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. Everything you need for two people for a short stay. Near to the ferry port at Dieppe for easy access from UK. Quiet, secure with easy parking.

An excellent cottage that met our expectations in every respect. The whole cottage was very roomy and with excellent facilities. We only stayed one night but it would have been excellent for a holiday of a week or longer. We hope to return again into the future.

It was a great stay! The house is clean, has a cosy and zen atmosphere and it has all the facilities you need. I also used the sauna before going to sleep, which was great!! Demain and Main also made a great breakfast for us and the kids. We really enjoyed and will return!

The location is perfect in a quiet back road in the hamlet of St Hellier overlooking the Varenne valley in the beautiful Pays-de-Bray clay vale district. The facilities are new and top grade and the private parking and garden are safe havens - this is a perfect Normandy cottage for two adults.
