The perfect stay. Before staying I was interested to see what accommodation rated as a perfect 10 would provide. I now fully understand. Amanda and Phil provided the perfect place to stay. I loved the peace and quiet, the accommodation was spotlessly clean & comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. An extra, and very welcome, step was the amazing welcome basket containg bread, milk, fruit chocolate and amazing jam. I had such a lovely stay that we are now seriously thinking of relocating to the local area. I have absolutely no reservations in highly recommending this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway to the countryside. The local town of Ashover was a very nice walk away. I had a lovely day in the town, eating in 1 of the 3 lovely looking pubs and watching a game of cricket.

Perfect location to get to loads of tourist attractions. The cottage had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Beautiful cosy cottage. On arrival, we were greeted with lots of farmhouse goodies. Jo and Veronica are the perfect hosts. A lot of thought has gone into making their guests feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Loved it ❤

Lisa was a fabulous host. She was very responsive to communication from booking through to checkout. Lisa provided detailed check in information and went to the effort of offering many recommendations of local attractions for us to visit during our stay. The property itself was spotless on arrival. There were so many charming touches and every room was beautifully decorated and well equipped. One of our party was involved in an accident (not at the cottage) the day before we were due to check out. Lisa was understanding and as accommodating as she could be with helping us get ourselves sorted- we really appreciated this!
