The place is beautiful surrounded by lush green trees. The host's welcoming nature makes it more amazing. It was a peaceful stay with good traditional food cooked by the beautiful owner aunty Susan. This place has my heart.

The homestay was very clean and hygiene and we were greeted very well by Amal Michael and his family. Parking facility was provided. The homestay is next to the road, nothing like interior. It is next to the Amusement park and it's worth a stay there to enjoy the views around! More importantly everything was arranged for us like water, extra beds Nd other stuff before our arrival which is admirable.

Elakai is located a little less than an hour drive from Munnar. The villa is in the midst of a cardamom plantation. We were warmly welcomed by Anoop, the manager who showed us the most beautiful property with the most gorgeous view. There are 2 very spacious bedrooms + bathrooms and a giant living room - perfect for the 6 of us. The property was kept nice and clean by Ahmed. While staying there, Anoop took us on a couple of walks, through the cardamom plantations to a nearby tea plantation, dam and forest. He answered our many questions with lots of patience. On top of that, he was always happy to help with our little requests. When we were not sightseeing, we spent our time eating delicious food prepared by Dinto. It was the perfect place to enjoy unwind in nature on the deck - or if you’re up to it - challenge yourself to explore and hike around the area.

I had the feeling that we couldn't get any better, the room has a beautiful view of the tea plantations which can be seen from the front and also has a big window that allows to see the plantation when you are lying on the bed. It was beautiful coming back home and having the feeling to be away from the crowd. Lovely hearing the birds which often come to say hi. Amazing waking up in the morning and sitting at the front during subset time. We really like that they tried their best to accommodate us as much as possible. Food was great and breakfast included. We can't find anything to complain about, ten out of ten!!! Thank you very much!!

The property is simply amazing with the river view in a walkable distance suitable for couples, family with kids and staffs were really humble. The breakfast that was servered was really tasty (menu differs every day) and the way they served it was really good. Plan a visit with your own vechile because the property is located around 18km to 20km from the centre of munnar/ tourist spots but to enjoy the view its worth it #worth_the_money #worth_the_visit #family_stay

The location of the Shamrock Home overlooks the beautiful mountains and tea plantations. Absolutely stunning views. The hotel itself is set on the side of a mountain, with meandering steps lined with flowers and plants, interesting architecture, and heart-stopping vistas. The staff was very friendly and helpful, carrying my bags, offering in room ordering and delivery for my meals, and most helpful booking taxis for my outings. You’ll love this property.
