It truly had everything we need and felt like home away from home. Lots of entertainment for the kids which was incredible - from board games, puzzles, and dolls to foosball, to outdoor table tennis and trampoline. It was hard to get the kids to leave! Kitchen was complete with everything. We made a few meals there and even barbecued a couple nights. It was very clean. Location was very convenient. Would definitely highly recommend and would stay there again.

It was very clean. The touch of having a cappuccino machine with beans was a plus!

Location was excellent, very creatively designed to fit a lot into a small space

The place had a lot of space. It was a old house, but kept up well, bathrooms were remolded and the kitchen had everything you would need. The beds were comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The view was absolutely unforgettable — a perfect combination of a serene lake and majestic mountains. It felt like waking up in a postcard every morning. The peaceful atmosphere made it the ideal escape from the city. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially enjoyed spending time on the terrace, soaking in the natural beauty all around me. Whether it was sunrise over the lake or the mountains glowing at sunset, every moment felt special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. I’d love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Giswil and would happily stay here again. The hosts communicated clearly, responded quickly to questions, and were very helpful throughout our stay. They even provided a pack-and-play crib for our baby, which was greatly appreciated. The house was well-equipped with just about every kitchen tool you could need for cooking. There is a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker, and plenty of kitchen essentials. While there is no dishwasher, dish soap and everything needed for cleaning up were provided. The home also includes a washing machine and dryer, with laundry pods supplied. An iron, ironing board, and hair dryer were available as well. The bathrooms were stocked with generous amounts of toilet paper and hand soap, and eight towels were provided for our group of eight. One thing we especially appreciated was the excellent water pressure and the fact that the tap water is safe to drink. The hot water supply was fantastic , our group of five adults and three children never ran out of hot water, even with everyone showering. The home does not have air conditioning, but it does have heating for colder months. There are two full bathrooms, plenty of dining chairs for large groups, and ample parking directly in front of the house. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Giswil is a small village, but it has convenient amenities including restaurants, shops, and a Coop grocery store nearby. We stayed here with five adults and three children and had an amazing time. I hope this review helps answer any questions future guests may have. Highly recommended!
