Friesy and Karina were the kindest, most helpful hosts that we have ever experienced! He helped us with our car rental flat tire and with our excursion details. Karina set our tv up with her computer so we could watch the college football championship. The breakfasts were delivered to us hot and delicious so we could enjoy by the pool. Karina took our clean clothes and dried them for us. Their rental is immaculate and they are the sweetest couple! Friesy told us to call him any time during the remainder of our trip if we need help anywhere in Costa Rico.

Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. The location was also amazing. The hotel was close to restaurants and right downtown La Fortuna but still in a relatively quiet area. The staff was amazing and we were able to leave our bags safely in the hotel while we explored la fortuna before our shuttle showed up. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

This place is magical. Unbelievable property with easy walking access to the turquoise waters of Rio Celeste. Hiking trails, resident sloth, great breakfast. Hostess couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. Very private b&b, tranquilo setting surrounded by cattle, horses, and very friendly dogs. House would be fabulous as a party house for family and friends: sleeps 7 with outfitted outdoor kitchen/party area.

What a wonderful surprise! The park is much larger than you would think and has so much to explore and do. Very impressive place. Very relaxing. The rooms are a generous size with comfortable beds. The property is big with lots to see. Since it’s not a place with a lot of rooms, it feels very private and quiet. The family of gentlemen that manage and run the place were great with communication and helping find guides for tours and even getting a birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday that happened while we were staying there. Fantastic place. Great communication. Terrific team of people managing and helping. This would also be a great place for a small group retreat or family trip. It’s close to Arenal and La Fortuna without the crowds, hustle and bustle of those areas.

Venado Caves is 49 km away and Rio Celeste Waterfall is 6.6 km from the holiday home. It was our favourite stay in all of Costa Rica. The lodge is amazing! Big recommendation to anyone staying in the area.
