It was likely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. The house has a beautiful yard and terrace. It was such a pleasure to drink coffee outside with the view to the ocean and banana plantations. The accommodation has everything you need. The host even presented us with the bottle of local wine and sweets. The kitchen includes all the necessary equipment if you decide to cook at home. The bed was the best part - it is huge and super comfortable! The special thanks to host, the communication was always fast and effective. The host is super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone staying in Tenerife! The place is a treasure!

La Cueva de Villa Gardel, a property with a terrace, is located in Icod de los Vinos, 37 km from Los Gigantes, 19 km from Taoro Park, as well as 19 km from Plaza Charco. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 300 metres from Moreno Beach. It’s perfect in every possible way and has lots of charm. We had Kate evening swim in the pool and while it was cold it was still very pleasant in early May.

You can also park right next to the property but there are really tiny streets, if you’re not an experienced driver would not recommend.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, My Little Bungalow is set in Palm-mar. This recently renovated holiday home is located less than 1 km from Arenita Beach and 12 km from Aqualand. Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking holiday home features a solarium. Have to say that Jorge is a host like we have never experienced before. Genuine and a really warm soul. We were in his accommodation for a week and it was exactly what we had been looking for. Good opportunities to make your own breakfast and also cook a dinner if you wanted to. Clean and tidy in a quiet area. When the week was over and the last day when we were to go home to Sweden, we received an email from SAS that the flight was cancelled. It was a morning without everything we had imagined, had to sit on the phone queue without getting to SAS. Got another email saying there was no new flight. So we booked with another company. Contacted Jorge and explained the situation and he helped us with a ride to the airport and offered us lunch as all the money was used for new tickets. Plaza Charco is 39 km from the holiday home, while Tenerife Trade Fair is 11 km from the property. Tenerife North–Ciudad de La Laguna Airport is 11 km away. Everything was great! Very good deal for this price.

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. The little house is tastefully decorated and despite the size it's really quite comfortable. The owner Miguel and his dad Jose are very friendly and welcoming, they definitely made us feel at home (Jose showed us everything in the garden and even let us try some fresh fruit!). Next time we come to Tenerife, we will gladly stay in La Pajara / Guimar again, but perhaps this time in the other house that belongs to Miguel and is in a real/natural cave - the one we stayed in (right next to the "casa cueva") is a little more "standard" ;)
