We were satisfied with everything. As we travelled during the low season, we paid a little (in comparison with July-August in Italy). And we got a great location, plenty of space, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and a full kitchen equipment

I had a wonderful stay at Soggiorno Lucano. The location is fantastic—peaceful yet conveniently close to the heart of town. One of the biggest pluses was the private parking, which made arriving and getting around so much easier. The unit itself was spotless and clearly very well maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful!! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The apt was very unique. When we first arrived we were a little concerned of the street, other places seemed to need work. After opening the wooden door to ur place we were very pleasantly surprised. Great apt in the rocks. Right near by there is a little alley with amazing views of the old city , quite a surprise to discover it Parking was a little walk away and limited but we did not need our car so left it parked the whole time we were there.

New, spotless, well-equipped, with the kindest owner who came and found us when we got lost! Just steps outside the city centre and at a very fair price. Grazie!

Excellent apartment close to Matera. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail were suberp. Highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for something affordable yet good quality and comfortable. The free parking behind an electric gate was appreciated.

L'angolo di Cinzia er með verönd og er staðsett í Matera, í innan við 1,9 km fjarlægð frá Sant' Agostino-klaustrinu og 1,9 km frá Matera Centrale-lestarstöðinni. It was a lovely apartment close to the bus station if you come from Bari. The owner was so nice and he even offered us an earlier check-in since we had an early flight. The accommodation had everything we needed and the breakfast was quick and lovely.A bit far from the Sassi but we didn’t mind taking a walk! I recommend it!

Located in Matera, 80 metres from Palombaro Lungo and 500 metres from Tramontano Castle, Sui Lecci provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. elegant palazzo right in the middle of town and only a stones throw away from the sassi. I was ready to move in permanently!!!

Every thing and each detail. The cave style of Sassi of Matera, provided an unforgettable experience and outstanding moments. The place attendant was caring, quite responsive, attentive and customer caring. In fact, this particular Hotel’s has made our stay of high standards. We loved the unique stone structure and setup, in integration with other nicely hand crafted decoration and furnishings of the room, which were in tune with the City’s rich culture, Matera is well known for. To my knowledge; the nearby shop sells some of those art pieces, which are handcrafted by the hotel’s attendant. I bought many of those great artworks. Although it’s the first time, this place will always be our first choice of preference whenever repeating the visit to Sassi.
