Serene and peaceful, special connection to the nature and doing a cooking class really emphasizes that connection through the Ayurvedic garden. The staff was the sweetest and made me feel at home, didn’t want to leave.

Gorgeous residence in a calm beautiful place near the river. The caretaker Mr. Nalin and the rest of the staff were very kind to us and assisted us in everything we asked, including arrangements with transfers and tours around the island. The residence itself (including the pool with the area around it) was comfortable and big enough to fit 7 friends. Lots of books about local culture and nature are available for the guests, including birdwatching manuals (and even equipment). Last but not least, the food was delicious, including both western and local cuisine. Highly recommend this place!

Kandy Fortress er þægilega staðsett í miðbæjarhverfinu í Kandy, 5 km frá Sri Dalada Maligawa, 5 km frá Kandy-safninu og 7,7 km frá Ceylon-tesafninu. Everything is so good. The location is not exactly in the center but maybe it's better, because it's quiet. The owner is so kind and helpful and the room we got is equipped with a nice kitchen and a very spacious bathroom. AC is working well.

Very beautiful place, it is near the botanical garden so you can go there by foot. I was feeling like home, perfect place if you have kids, they can do painting, also very secure place

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Tea Heritage features accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. We stayed at Tea Heritage for our honeymoon, and it truly felt magical. The setting is incredibly picturesque, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful views. Usually, hotels in Sri Lanka feel a bit outdated, but this property is brand new with a beautiful contemporary design. In Europe, a glass pavilion like this would easily cost a minimum of USD 2,000 per night — we feel so lucky to have found this gem for such a great price. The nature trail experience was unforgettable, with Jagath Nishantha and Vinoda doing a fantastic job explaining the flora, fauna, and history along the way. And the food — oh, the food! Dinushika’s mouthwatering dishes were the highlight of our stay; we loved every bite. The place is immaculate, spacious, and the huge swimming pool makes it even more special. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return.
