We chose the rainiest days of the summer to stay at the house, but I’m glad we did! The house is lovely, large and comfortable. It has a smart tv with all the streaming services and even loads of English tv channels. Wifi is also great for doing some work. Beds were extremely comfortable (and we’re quite critical). But what made our stay even more great was that Johan went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He brought us a large umbrella, gave us tips on local sights and his wife even brought us homemade pasties. Thank you so much for a great stay!

The house is right next to a forest and walking trails. 20 minutes by public transportation to the center of Uppsala, 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store.

The host is friendly and guides us with everything in the house. The outdoor sauna and steam sauna made this trip special and feels like perfect place to get away from this busy life!

Kajsa and Andreas were fantastic hosts. We stayed there 10 days with two small kids and it had everything we needed (washing machine, Wi-Fi, large fridge/freezer and so on). Ample space for parking. The keyless lock was convenient. Quiet neighbourhood. The place really exceeded our expectations and we would happily stay here again.

The house is close to the main house, but you have all the privacy you can wish for. Old Wing is as you can imagine old but renovated to modern standard with all details and beauty intact. The only problem is that you don’t want to leave the house because of the atmosphere!
