FAQs about hotels in Hong Kong

Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture, to nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbour, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the backgound.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city centre. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Hong Kong holiday.

I found eateries are plentiful and have delicious food and drinks all freshly prepared. Hong Kong has excellent places to visit and has an excellent accessibility via public transport to mainland China so call Motherland. Macao is a brilliant with historical sites and buildings with Portuguese heritage and roads signage are entwined with Portugal. Macao is my favourite Overall Hong Kong is always busy with sea of people and is a shopping haven for jewelleries like gold and jades. Modern shopping malls and traditional market stores all great experience

Great train network and cheap too! You're able to buy Airport Express tickets online (and will get the same discount if you don't have an Octopus card). Have brekkie at cha chaan teng (delicious and cheap) and go hard on the yum cha of course. Recommend the Tram-o-ramic tour and hop on the Star ferry. Would also highly recommend catching the high speed ferry to Macau for a day trip or stay there a few nights. Love HK!!! You need at minimum 4 nights stay or longer ideally.

A unique combination of old and new, high rise skyscrapers and old buses compete side to side and from all this chaos, something beautiful emerges. A fusion of Chinese and European characteristics, a cultural melting pot that is truly exciting to experience.

The weather was bad when I arrived, so I really didn't get to actually complete my planned itinerary. I just checked out the weather every morning and went to not too far places and Disneyland since I already booked the ticket. Luckily, there was the MTR so despite the heavy rain I managed to go to various places without getting drenched too much, except on the day that I arrived. If you like strolling around without any plans or don't really feel the need to visit the most popular attractions, you can still visit cool places around Hong Kong. Google Maps should come in pretty handy when searching for places to explore.

Good location, easy to access using Citybus or Metro to nearby hotel / jordan MRT station and then a short walk. Near fabulous Nathan Road shops and then to harbour side. Within easy walk to Star Ferry terminal for cheap ride to Hong Kong Island and walk to Old Peak Road and up to Victoria Peak for those with the energy. Many places to eat, both in the old part of town one one side of the hotel and towards the East and South in modern shopping malls. Largely younger clientele with independent get-up-and-go.

I liked the location of the property. It’s along Nathan road, the main artery of Kowloon (at least for tourists), which means all points in Hong Kong are either within walking distance or easily accessible using Hong Kong’s awesome transportation system. The hotel also has a lot of nice restaurants in the building, including a Michelin starred dimsum place. Staff, especially the elevator attendants, were quite nice and welcoming, always ready with a warm smile. Room and bathroom are cleaned everyday.

Good value for money: central location pretty close to Jordan MTR station, rich food court inside the premises, fast check-in and easy going reception desk. No request to place deposit. The request to extend checkout time by 1 hour was accepted without concerns. Check out very fast too: just thrown the key in a box and left to the airport. A good choice for anyone willing to spend a few days in Hong Kong and enjoys hotels essentially for overnight sleeping.

It's great value. The hotel was clean and comfy, even though the rooms themselves were small (but that's pretty standard all over Hong Kong). The location isn't as bad as we thought, as there was a bus that gets you down to Central within 25min. The buses are generally on time, and they come every 15 min or so, so it was pretty easy. The area itself didn't have too much to do, but the boat houses nearby was a cool thing to check out while we were here.

Exceeded expectations completely. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and upgraded our room for free. In space-constrained Hong Kong, the hotel room was very spacious, and the hotel's location was superb, near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. The location in the heart of Kowloon is amazing. It is a surprise having to get through a large market area to reach the lift up to the hotel but quite fun also. The room was tiny but fine for one person. Spotlessly clean. Checking in and out was flexible and it really helped as my flights were delayed - I arrived well after midnight.

The location was awesome, right in the middle of Kowloon, not too far from all the places you want to go to in Hong Kong. Having MOKO just beneath the hotel is great, but having Mong Kok East station close by is definitely a deal-maker! The room size for the four of us was plenty, especially considering Hong Kong square footage.
