Located in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Cooinda Lodge Kakadu offers air-conditioned rooms. Guests enjoy access to outdoor swimming pools and a restaurant. The location is very close to the Yellow Water Cruise and about 30km to the rock art gallery. The lodge has been renovated and the bed is really comfortable. Because of the location, we took an afternoon break after seeing the rock art (38 degrees) and went to the Yellow Water Cruise later.

From the marble foyer to its uniquely shaped exterior, Mercure Kakadu Crocodile is a retreat in the wilderness of Kakadu National Park. This is an amazing hotel. It’s form is really well fitting the environment it is also very discreetly nested withi n the park. The swimming pool was great, shadowed, so we could use it during the lunch break time in the middle of the day. It is opened until 22 hrs! . Hotel is located very well, close to all important visiting sites. Breakfast generous and very tasty. We booked evening meal. Unfettered very nice even if fairly standard. Menu list was elaborated and we could get delicious and very nicely prepared meal there as well.. beds very comfortable. In the morning kakadu make such noise that one is woken up for 30 minutes at 5 am. We liked it!

Nestled among tropical landscaped gardens, in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Aurora Kakadu Lodge features a lagoon style swimming pool and an onsite bar and restaurant. Fantastic little cabin.. Only built a year ago modern with kitchenette, great shower and own driveway. The pool was wonderful..set among trees and refreshing. Reception and bar staff can't be faulted and huge dinner portions.
