Located in Longyearbyen, a 12-minute walk from Svalbard Church, Svalbard Hotell | The Vault provides accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. We were switched from the Vault to Polfareren so the review is actually for Svalbard Hotell - Polfareren. We loved the breakfast and the central location that was literally on the main street. The hotel had complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits and a nice, cozy and warm fireplace area where you could relax and read the many books that was there. They also had a room to store your shoes and gave you hotel slippers. The winning attribute was the heated flooring in the bathroom. It made all the difference. We also had a corner room where we had 180 degrees view of the outside world. The reception was extremely helpful and very friendly, they also helped us heat up our food in the microwave. We loved everything about this hotel and we will come to stay again.

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the northernmost full-service hotel in the world, located in Longyearbyen. I selected this hotel for the sauna and hot tub so I could look at the full moon. Breakfast was a bonus! If you cannot find something you love? You have blinders on! It was amazing. Hours of service long as well. Beds were lovely. I would pick it all over again!

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. Perfect location right in the center of town. Fun, rustic “Arctic explorer” style. Room is cozy and comfortable.

Just a 15-minute walk from Svalbard Church and 0.7 miles from Svalbard Museum, Svalbard Hotell | Lodge features accommodations in Longyearbyen, with a bar. The apartment was quite spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cutleries. Remembering some of the reviews, we took some ingredients with us and brought some from the supermarket nearby. We had two bedrooms, but one the bedrooms did not have a closet. The apartment was almost always at a comfortable temperature. We would love to be back here. Sound and air insulations were really good. We had a good overall stay!

Room was very comfortable, bathroom very clean. Kitchen/lounge area was great, had everything you needed regarding utensils for cooking, etc.

We were very warmly welcomed, the hotel owner was very sweet and helpful. She helped us to understand how the town works, suggested some restaurants and other shops.The kitchen was full of the necessary food and some tasty homemade desserts were prepared for all the guests to share! The hotel also felt like a home and not like a chain hotel, the owner takes very good care of the faculties, it's a nice cozy place to stay and enjoy the city. Highly recommend!
