Amazingly authentic property reflective of “Olde England”. The innkeepers, Alice and Andrew, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and accommodate our complicated flight logistics. Breakfast was superb and plentiful.

We enjoyed a continental breakfast. The 1st morning we ate inside as it had been raining but the 2nd day was lovely & sunny so we ate under a gazebo outside. Very peaceful listening to the bird song etc

Exceptional accommodation. Two huge double rooms, a twin and a large sitting room. Two large shower rooms. This is a rare find for a family and we had the best time. It was spotlessly clean with beautiful, cosy interior design. The towels were fluffy and the linen was crisp.. it was heaven!! The children loved the double shower and the complimentary toiletries were a lovely touch. We had superb meals at both dinner and breakfast. We can’t wait to return- we only live about 40 mins away, but have been looking for a home away from home like this and now we have finally found it!!

Although it’s in quiet surroundings it’s just a short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The basic provisions provided - artisan bread, butter, milk, tea etc - were a really nice touch and most welcome. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.
