The variety for breakfast was huge. Lovely beer garden and ample parking. Excellent staff. Bus out the front for a 10 minute ride to York city centre.

Dating back to 1604, Ashfield House offers luxurious rooms, country cooking and a walled garden. Ashfield House was beautiful accomodation. Located in the centre of the village, but very quiet. Everything about it was high quality and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. You cannot go wrong choosing to stay at Ashfield House.
