Located in Ölfus, 30 miles from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Cosy hotel, friendly stuff, everything was great.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Beautiful and idyllic location, very comfortable and cosy, very clean, polite staff

Located in Iðunnarstaðir, 27 miles from Thingvellir National Park, Basalt Hotel provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. The location is a bit remote, and it's a bit scary to drive there at night, as you have to walk about ten kilometers on a small road; the room is large, neat and clean; the view outside the window is particularly beautiful; the breakfast is relatively simple but very delicious.

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 4.2 mi to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, near the main attractions in the area, also great decor. Best breakfast I had in the trip.

Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon offers luxurious accommodations in Hnappavellir. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and hotel bar. The facilities, restaurand, Sauna and hot pots were great. The breakfast was rich with choices. The staff was very nice, reception helped us to book great tour in Ice lagoon and checked forecast. The room was very nice and pleasant with ocean view. Very pleasant stay.

Located in Akureyri, 24 miles from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The rooms come with a patio. This was a double booking due to problems with the booking App but Halond refunded without any fuss. My review of the actual room should be ready in conjunction with this paragraph.

Located in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. This place was amazing. The location was ideal — especially as I had been to Iceland before and I was only doing an overnight stay (and didn’t need to drive into Reykjavik.) The facilities and breakfast were great. The location allowed me to have a short stroll to the lighthouse and get some great aurora photos!

Set 17 mi from Hella and 7.5 mi from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Extensive and fresh breakfast. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff (they opened the gym earl for me). Gym and saunas (yes TWO saunas) were clean, modern and a great way to unwind, as was the outdoor jacuzzi
