Birches B&B is exceptional. Everything was beautiful; our bed was so comfortable plus we had our own little adjoining lounge with tv and ensuite, so private. Ken and Mark are wonderful hosts and they provided not only amazing accommodation but also a delicious cooked breakfast with incredible coffee. They are friendly, helpful and generous hosts. We were so lucky that they had a vacancy and were able to experience their beautiful accommodation in Taree. Absolutely 5 stars from us.

Very clean with a comfortable bed. I liked the extra details they included like a choice of milk, dishwashing liquid, a coffee pod machine and plenty of powerpoints. We would be happy to stay again.

Good location and cleanliness. Room is furnished with all necessary items.
Room was very small as was the bathroom. Handy open early cafe directly across road (careful crossing). Acceptable short stay but had better considering room rate is at the top end of Motel charges.

Lovely spot, great beaches and parks.
Lovely spot, great beaches and parks. Beautiful spot on the river. Has a wide variety of places to eat. Fish and Chip shop, Deep Sea Delights is amazing. Food is fresh, staff so friendly and great prices. Just a perfect spot for a half way stop on my road trip from home to family. Walking along the river is so relaxing and the people so friendly

The hosts were very helpful and friendly.
The hosts were very helpful and friendly.
The unit had been thoughtfully rennovated using modern appliances (inluding a coffe machine) but had preserved some history, leaving the patterned bathroom tiles., a nice touch 🙂 Also, the motel is close to a electric fast charging station so a great stopping place for e-car drivers.

TAREE? I haven't seen anything spectacular.
TAREE? I haven't seen anything spectacular. I think it's a service town for the country areas.
The most amasing thing about TAREE is it's in the BARRINGTON WAY TOURIST DRIVE. The drive through Gloucester Stroud WALCHA etc etc and up over the top of the mountain range is/are amasing. There's SO MUCH BEAUTY to see and photography to do....national parks, camping grounds etc etc it's one of the prettiest places in Australia. Some views look like the Snowy Mountains or Ireland etc. It's not too far to explore Port Macquarie beaches, Nelson Bay, Forster Tuncurry, Seals Rocks and all the beaches on THAT tourist drive too. If you go OVER the Barrington ....then there's ARMIDALE which in my opinion is one of the prettiest towns in Australia especially in AUTUMN as MAPLE trees line the streets....and you go to the WATERFALL WAY EXPLORATION route too. Go to Peterson's winery just for a look.

Very comfortable and clean room, perfect for an overnight stay when passing through Taree. Staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the coffee machine in the room, I stayed on a public holiday so wasn’t sure if any cafes would be open, loved that I was able to make myself a good coffee. Little biscuits and bottled water was also a nice touch.
Room was very comfortable. They had gone to some effort in room decor and presentation. Well located with pub across the road that served amazing food - I recommend the duck and the bbq seafood! Staff were friendly and informative - recommended pub! Motel had a destination charger. Taree is a gorgeous little town.
Loved this little place in Taree. Bigger than I was expecting based on photos. Super comfy and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Well set up to accommodate our dog, he loved it too. Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again ourselves for sure 😃
last min booking, staff rung to let me know as a courtesy, to say I’d accidentally booked twice. Very kind, I thought. Until he said gotcha… Yes, they did. It must happen regularly due to poor internet service traveling between Sydney and Taree. Wouldn’t refund the second room.
We spent one night in the hotel and it was very nice. The room was quite big with plenty of space. The sofa bed my daughter used was very comfortable and she slept happily. It is a very well-located hotel. We always sleep there when we travel to Coff harbour to see our family.
In my opinion, this is the best value for money motel in Taree and I have stayed in most of the others. Owners/staff helpful and friendly, facilities are spotlessly clean with a really comfortable bed. It ticks all the boxes for me.
We loved everything about the Taree apartment. The apartment was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and just a lovely place to stay. It was also great to have our fur babies stay with us.
Great location would have explored more if we weren't on a long road trip back to Melbourne. We stayed on a Saturday night it is right next to a Pub and the patrons weren't too loud.
