Hospitality was top-notch. The staff took care of our requests and provided us with a harbor view. Also, when we visited their restaurant for a Christmas dinner, their chef spoilt us for vegetarian choice (in spite the menu not having many vegetarian options). Special mention to Jeff (the chef), he mentioned I wanted your dinner to be spl, so had all these cooked for us. Also, that continued during our breakfast when we mention we do not eat egg, the waiter suggested some good options which we thoroughly enjoyed. Also, the hospitality was beyond our expectations from the entire staff.

From the glitz and glamour of the Star City Casino and trendy King Street Wharf in Darling Harbor to the waves of the Northern beaches, Sydney is full of great restaurants, bars and shopping.
Sail under the iconic Harbor Bridge on a ferry and take in a world class performance at the Sydney Opera House. Circular Quay is also home to the exquisite waterside Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Sydney Tower is the highest point on the skyline and offers a restaurant with panoramic views.
Whether it's the quirky King Street in Newtown or the elegance of the Woollahra, travelling outside of the center uncovers each suburb's distinct flavor. The famous Bondi Beach is the starting point of a walk along the cliffs to the equally photogenic beaches of Bronte and Coogee.

From a dorm bed in King’s Cross to a 5-star, serviced apartment in the central business district, Booking.com will ensure you don’t miss the excitement in this dynamic city down under.
Sydney is an exciting g place to visit, so much to see and do. Obviously very busy and full of visitors but it’s not difficult to find places that are quieter, away from the crowds. Trips on the ferries are a cheap and easy way to get around and see the city from a different perspective.
So much to see and do in Sydney and not enough time. Beautiful gardens, great beaches, great restaurants, lots of sightseeing and friendly people. We managed to eat at quite a few great restaurants, walked around Bondi beach, traveled to Manly beach by ferry, climbed the harbour bridge, went to the Rocks market, walked around Hyde park, went to a cat cafe and did some shopping in the five days we were there.
As far as cities go, it was not as busy as we expected it to be. Circular Quay, The Rocks and Darling Harbour did not disappoint. What was outstanding was the public transport. Never waited longer than a couple of minutes and it was so clean. Best way to get around for sure!
We stayed in the suburb Barangaroo which I found to be very central to all the tourist attractions we had planned. It's also within walking distance to almost everything, including the Lyric theatre if you are heading to Sydney to watch a show. The hotel was also only 1 block away from the waterfront where there are a heap of dining options. We booked a 3 entry ticket which got us into Madame Tussauds, Sealife and the rooftop Zoo next door - this was a good deal. We had a blast at Madame Tussauds and the Aquarium. The zoo was different to any I've exprienced because the animals are so close to you. They only take maybe 45 minutes to an hour each to go through. I highly recommend the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb if you have time. The views are amazing and the guides give you interesting facts about Sydneys history as well as the history of the bridge. Taronga Zoo is also a must - seeing an array of animals with the ocean and city backdrop is a Sydney must do.
We stayed at Darling Harbour,Pyrmont, easy to get to everything Light Rail,Ferry,Walking distance to Fish Market,Casino,Coles, across the bridge to Central City walking distance to everything or use the light rail,,malls everywhere,,lots of people,,get out early to avoid the thousands, visted Manly on the fast Ferry well worth the visit.
Sydney is a great place to visit. There are a lot of attractions just in the CBD (central business district) alone. It is a 'walkable' city with a lot of footpaths and extensive public transport options. The views especially along the coast/quay are splendid. There are also a lot of eateries scattered around town, some more famous and easier to get to than others. Also a lot of places for shopping. There are a lot of other attractions outside of CBD, of course. Most of these are accessible via public transport, which is very reliable. But because Sydney is big, some journey may take a long time, and will need prior planning.
Sydney Central Business District, Sydney
Situated close to Chinatown was absolutely perfect for a short walk to Paddy's Market, Central Railway Station & the Light Rail to give access to the Airport, Trains & Circular Quay with Ferries on Sydney Harbour to enjoy Taronga Zoo, Manly & a host of other destinations. The cleanliness of Maze was outstanding, due to the efforts of both Management & certainly the guests. Awesome.! Oh, and Maloney's Hotel only 50 metres walk away, is a "must" to visit. Trust me lol
We were very happy with the accommodation at this hotel. Excellent choice for breakfast to set you up for the day. All the staff we came into contact with were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The porterage was brilliant - wish I had made a note of his name but he was on duty on Saturday 8th and Monday 10th April - saw to our luggage and arranged our taxi to the airport. This was the second time we have stayed here and if we ever go back to Sydney we would certainly return
Chatswood, Sydney
I like the lovely, welcoming Federation-style decor, ensuite bathroom, private balcony overlooking the garden and microwave oven. Location is great, close to Northern Sydney CBD but really quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Also love the metal keys, which don't keep failing all the time like the "access" (Not!) digital cards used by hotel chains! Very good value for money, especially compared to other northside hotels.
The tariff is very competitive indeed for accommodation so close to the Sydney CBD. The location is very close to the Neutral Bay ferry terminal. Good views of the harbour. Within walking distance of Kirribilli shopping precinct. The room was large with modern, clean contemporary bathroom. The bed was king size and comfortable. The WiFi reception was good.
Parking efficient; check-in very professional; the room was very comfortable and bigger than most hotels. The combination of the heritage and the way it has been modernised makes it a pleasure to come “home” to. My fathers office was in the building when it was a government location in the 1960’s. We have stayed there before and we will be back.
Room was clean and comfortable, definitely worth the price compared to the other hotels across the city. There was a little issue with my room when I checked-in, however the front office lady was very approachable and helpful. She re-arranged me with a new room immediately! Cheers to the amazing staff in the front office and concierge!
The location is brilliant for what we needed to do - access to CBD, Surry Hills and Central, plus the airport. It is so easy to find and there are a lot of excellent eating options in the area plus a Supermarket. The staff were super polite and helpful. Coffee and tea in the foyer is a huge bonus.
Sydney Central Business District, Sydney
This hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to Circular Quay, CBD and Darling Harbor. We like the appartement having its own kitchen where we good have breakfast before going out for the day. Considering the time of year, the rate was the best compared to other Hotels in the area.
The room 38㎡ was big enough for 2 people. Location was good to accesss to the heart of CBD and the airport, and it was comfortable to walk back to hotel late at night around 9pm for girls because there were always many people (was no homeless around there), shops and lights nearby.
Mascot, Sydney
It's one of several reasonably close hotels to the domestic airport so it serves that purpose well. They have a shuttle which was on time. It's clean and comfortable and made an early flight possible. It's a short walk from Mascot Station which is very convenient.
The hotel has thick carpeted hallways and sensor lights which is ideal in an airport hotel. I didn't get woken up by the sound of suitcases or get bothered by light coming in under the door. Nice decor. Much nicer than other airport hotels close by, would stay here again.
Honestly one of the nicest Sydney hotels I’ve stayed in! The room was very spacious, and incredibly clean. It was also handy having a fully equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic - really close to the airport and there are nearby eateries and a grocery store.
Big shout out to Edel and the other staff at Rydges Sydney Airport. Very helpful. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were offered a larger room. Great customer service. Rooms are quiet even though the hotel was quite busy.
Sydney Central Business District, Sydney
Most reviewers here like the fact this place is close to Central. While it is true, it is also true that nearly all Sydney hotels are located within CBD and fringe suburbs, so it is hardly a selling point.
Sydney
The location is very strategic as it is very close to CBD, Airport and also toll ways to western and Easter suburbs via M4 & M5. We can also find parking easily in the street.
Sydney
The Location was perfect. It is close to the airport and CBD. Many shops were nearby so we could just walk and buy stuff. Swimming pool and Sauna facilities were also good.
Close to Central Station to get to the airport early in the morning. Easy walk to Chinatown and CBD shopping. Didn’t eat in the restaurant/bar but it looked good.
The proximity to the offices - hotels and airport terminals. The attentive staff! The clean rooms. Well attended by the housekeeping staff on level 6.
Sydney Central Business District, Sydney
Interiors renewed in last 5-10 yrs, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location, excellent value for a Sydney CBD hotel.
Good location among other airport hotels
