Featuring free WiFi and Netflix, Veriu Broadway offers modern, self-contained accommodations in Sydney, just a 10-minute walk to Central Station. The short version: Great Location. Spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Clean, well equipped and super internet. Staff knows what they are doing. The long version: sometimes a hotel stay can exceed your expectations and you realize you have stumbled across a gem. I can only imagine the popular hot spot the VERIU BROADWAY is destined to become in the upcoming years. The location is just perfect with shopping literally on the back doorstep, minutes away from central station and easy access to all the great stuff that Sydney has to offer. The rooms are modern, well laid out, uniquely finished and very comfortable. Bonus points for the comfy bed, the USB charging plugs and the kitchenette that was better stocked than some of our past holiday rentals! It is a modern building with a great industrial vibe. But what truly sets this place apart is the positive energy that flows through it. And that is brought in by the staff. From the crew behind the front desk to management and maintenance, this is a great team! The people behind the front desk offer customer service with a super attitude behind it. None of this bland “yes sir, no sir, whatever you say sir” customer service, this is sincere and friendly! They have personality, intelligence and a great sense of humor. We were so taken in by our stay that we went ahead and cancelled an upcoming stay at a different hotel and immediately rebooked at the VERIU BROADWAY. Our only regret: our stay went by too fast!

What a great place to stay. We had dinner in china town which was wonderful. We caught the train to Circula Quay and walked around enjoying the entertainment and Street foods. Darling Harbour was next then the Ferry back to Circula Quay , the ferry over to Loona Park. Just wonderful. The views from our room at the North Sydney Harbourview hotel was spectacular .
Phenomenal city, friendly, helpful, nice people, beautiful harbor, amazing public transportation, limitless things to do and see. We stayed in The Rocks, which has character, history, is fun, and close to everything you would want to see, including the opera house, harbor bridge, botanical gardens, Hyde Park, ANZAC memorial, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay.....We walked for miles each day, rode the ferries to Manly and Bondi Beach, did the Coogie to Bondi coastal walk, went to museums and historical sites, sailed on a tall ship, took the opera house tour. The Opera House itself is stunning and the story behind it is amazing. The Rusell Hotel opened in the late 1800s and has so much charm and character, including an expansive reading room with balcony and a rooftop garden and sitting area that is perfect for relaxing at the end of a long day of exploring. Phenomenal coffee shops and bakeries everywhere.
We did hotel hopping so started at the InterContinental Hotel in Double Bay which was outstanding - so new and classy! Then we moved to the Holiday Inn in Darling Harbour which was a good location for Chinatown, Paddy's Market & Darling Harbour. Then we moved to Seasons Harbour Plaza in Darling Harbour which was a great location to Darling Harbour and Sydney Tower & Queen Victoria Building for fantastic shopping (but sadly the airconditioning didn't work in our room and had to resort to an electric fan so would definitely think twice whether to go there again) and lastly once the city stuff was done we moved over to Coogee Beach for a wonderful last night at the Crowne Plaza! A great location to unwind - would recommend not being there on a weekend though as was crowded on Valentines Day but great on the Monday as everyone back at work! The Zoo is fantastic for all ages & going on the Eco Hopper Ferry including Zoo Entry & Harbour Sightseeing was brilliant! You begin the zoo with a great Gondola ride and the backdrop once walking through the zoo is the Opera House & Harbour Bridge! The Stockroom Restaurant at the InterContinental Hotel in Double Bay has delicious food! The lunchtime buffet at the 180 degrees Restaurant at Sydney Tower was fantastic - both the food and the view! Shopping is always fun - especially at the Queen Victoria Building stores and also at Paddy's Market! The Opal card is a great service - just have to remember to tap on and tap off to make it work! Would avoid travelling into and out of the Sydney CBD during peak traffic.
We visited the Rocks Markets on Saturday as well as strolling around the Harbour. The Rocks area is just fabulous, very vibrant and historic. The markets had high quality merchandise and the atmosphere was party like with live music from the adjacent Irish Pub. We enjoyed a great lunch nearby at the Ribs and Burgers with great views of the Harbour Bridge and the docked cruise ship on the Harbour and then later had fabulous gelato at Gelatissimo. Molto Delicioso. We were drooling over the huge selection of rich desert offerings. There was so much activity from cruise ships docked at the terminal, wedding parties coming to have photos taken and iconic views of the Harbour bridge and Harbour from practically every angle. We also enjoyed a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art. We were staying at accommodation adjacent to China Town which was alive with pre Chinese New Year celebrations. Had a walk around visiting some of the huge artwork Chinese Zodiac Lanterns placed in key points around the city. The views from our room high above the city were just fabulous and we easily viewed the fireworks over Darling Harbour from the comfort of our serviced apartment accommodation.
Taking the Manly Ferry is a great way to combine a harbour cruise with a visit to beautiful Manly Beach and to have a seaside lunch. Great views can be found by climbing the pylon of Harbour bridge and by having an expensive but delicious dinner at Altitude, the restaurant in the Sang-ri-la Hotel. The restaurant is higher than the bridge so the views of the bridge and the Opera House and the outlying green areas around Sydney are stellar. A wonderful walk from the opera house to the historical center city can be taken through the botanic gardens. Another great view is at the Harbourview Hotel's restaurant. The food is delicious, too. We found the Hop On Hop Off Bus and the train to be very convenient for getting around efficiently. The hotel concierge can sell HOHO tickets to seniors at a discount, but the bus driver will have to charge full price--unless you have an Australian ID. We were in Sydney for Australia Day so it was very crowded but extremely fun! There were boat races, decorated boats, and decorated people.

The suites are very comfortable and big (compared to what you’ll get in CBD). Also comes with a well equipped kitchen (pots, pans, dishwasher, microwave) and a washer & dryer. It isn’t in CBD but the train station is a 2-3 min walk away and goes straight to the main stops (Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Airport). Nearby there are cafes and a huge supermarket, which is really convenient. The rooms are clean and everyone at the hotel were very helpful.

Everything you need and nothing you don't. Parking $20 per night reasonable for syd airport, and you can leave it there 7 nights. New bathroom very nice and practical, and pillow choices in room. Free electronic scales to weigh your luggage in reception which I haven't seen anywhere else ever, even in 5 star hotels. Shuttle to airport starts at 5 am and I was checking in by 5.15 am (shuttle tickets at reception for $6.)

The hotel is clean and tidy, pretty fancy. Room facilities are excellent, there’s even a free smartphone to use around. Bed is so comfortable that it might be the most relaxed sleeps I’ve ever had among all my trips. Location’s great for sightseeing, close to a lot of tourist sites ( 5 min to Darling Harbour, 20 to Sydney Opera House). Shopping malls are right under the building. Perfect place to stay in Sydney.

A good location to get access to Sydney CBD, Botanic Garden, and habour within 20 mins walk. And only 5 min walk to Kings Cross station, with some lovely little restaurants like Chinese and Thai nearby, cheap and yum. I think price, location and free Brekky are the reasons for this hotel to be a choice. Receptionist helps a lot with getting around, and they have free map and more information in the room.

Brand new with fantastic decor. Comfy bed and spacious rooms. Staff were helpful and always pleasant. Plenty of supermarkets and places to get coffee up the road. Not too much in the way of restaurants but they do have a pub next door and offer a selection of place that deliver food to the property. A short 5-10 min drive to the airport terminal. It’s definitely one of the nicer airport hotels.

One of the best hotels in the city. We wanted to get away from the corporate 5 stars and try something different. If you want a boutique hotel QT is for you. Our overseas friend was just as impressed by us. If you travel a lot for work and stay in the usual hotels this is a great alternative. Rooms are spacious and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location is great right in the CBD.

Co-located and sharing services with the Novotel and Pullman Hotels at Sydney Olympic Park, this Ibis Hotel is directly across the road from the stadiums. Parking is expensive but comparable with other sites in Sydney. The parking guys did an amazing job fitting in so many cars the night we were there (for a Pink concert). The rooms are clean, comfortable and well set up for short stays.

The property was delightfully located on Potts Point. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery/bottle shops in the area. We enjoyed our daily walk around the neighborhood and found the walk downtown to be easy and enjoyable. From our 5th floor room we had a beautiful view of the CBD and part of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Being in the CBD and short walk to bus and a great train station. I particularly like the hassle free and quick commute to the airport by direct train service. I was concerned about shared bathroom but once I got used to it in just one day, I actually found it great as it was always available and clean.
7.5 Good 3,014 reviews
The property was very accessible to the whole Sydney CBD, not to mention it is a minute walk to the Museum Station which has direct airportlink. The price is a bit expensive but given the accessibility and comfort, I would still recommend it. Free continental breakfast was also great!

Just 3 stops away from Sydney international airport through Green Line. New and clean hotel. I love the room and the free bread breakfast and overflowing coffee. Thank you Bupeesh for lending me an outlet adaptor! You guys deserve 5 star from me! 😄

Location was central to the motorway back to airport. Train station, coles, bus, bws, post office, pharmacy, maccas etc 200m away at the forum. Apartment was pricey but spacious. Loved the washing machine. Staff very professional and friendly.

I have stayed in the CBD quite frequently and this is one of the better hotels. It is in a central location, close to Central station and only a short walk to George Street, QVB and Darling Harbour.

Great location, very convenient to everything you want. Walking distance to Darling Harbour and Fish market. The room size is small, but considering the hotel is in CBD, it's acceptable.
