Rooms were clean, however, i didnt expect that the room is smaller than i thought. Pictures are misleading =)... but it's ok.The 3 of us fits ourselves in anyway.Bedsheets are neat and comfy, location is great it's just in the heart if the city. Very convenient to walk around. It's a good choice.. Thumbs up Sydney hotel CBD.
So much room to escape in the parks & gardens, yet also so many shops, endless food options, fantastic transport (cheap too) the City / Circular Quay was, as expected rather more expensive though. The bonus is you hop on a ferry to a quiet beach.
Really nice city. Mix of old and new buildings and lots of park space along with the iconic structures of the bridge and opera house. Recommend doing the bridge climb. Very safe so as long as you fit enough no worries about safety or falling etc. on my climb there were few who don’t like heights but even they were fine. Friendly city and people very helpful. Public transport great and very cheap. Lots of eating choices.
taronga wild life retreat stay was the BEST. taronga zoo and sky car were a lifetime experience. loved it. Sea life, sydney eye and madam tussads were the places we visited. Bondi beach and manly beach were lovely. sea was inviting and tempting. we had food at MANJIT WHARF side hotel on darling harbour as our favourite. it a is a must to visit and have a very good lunch or dinner indian style-punjabi food. the owners are very polite cordial mixing and make you feel at home. going around sydney is fun. buses trams and the best is Ferries. superb experience. i would visit sydney again if i get a chance.
I love Sydney and have always treasured my visits there over many years! The city has so much to offer all ages and it is in my opinion one of the very best cities in the world! Our Sydney Harbour and Bridge make it magical and a place where one can go and truly have a wonderful experience, whether it be shopping, markets, restaurants, fish markets, ferry rides, joining a cruise ship, looking into history. Visiting historic sites and buildings can be fascinating and enrich a visit here! The train system here makes it an easy way to continue a journey of discovery and the light rail is so easy to get around. Sydney is an ideal place for a great holiday to create memories!!
The room smelled of mould. Woken at 3am and evacuated due to faulty fire alarm. No apology, no explanation, no reassurance. Charged more than quoted for the experience, and still not refunded the holding fee….. which is higher than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Sydney Central Business District, Sydney
Great location above regent arcade with a lot of great food choices. Within walking distance to most of the Sydney CBD Great expansive view on the higher levels over looking Town Hall and you can even see as far as North and South heads, the entry point to Sydney Harbour. If you're into photography or time lapses parking a camera or phone near the windows would wield excellent results. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. Pool and gym rooms were pretty good.
We had a large one bed apartment with stunning Sydney Harbour views located on the 20th floor. The room was very spacious and well thought out. The hotel is located very close to North Sydney train station or if you feel like a walk the Harbour Bridge is a short distance away so we enjoyed many walks across it to reach the CBD. North Sydney much less busy than the city. There are super markets close by and a coffee shop in the foyer area. We would book again for sure.
I've always like the location of this hotel. I used to stay here when it was branded as another hotel chain - it very close to everything, and the food options plus a supermarket close by are an attraction for me. The rooms are a little dated and basic but clean and the beds comfortable, which is a little more than I expected for the price. Good value for money in comparison to other CBD hotels and the Reception staff were helpful and friendly.
The hotel was a short walk to some great dining as well as the concert we were attending at QBE arena. There was also some nice walking tracks nearby and it was only 30mins to Sydney Zoo. The rooms were clean, comfortable and featured nice views over Olympic Park. The tea and coffee supplied in the room was really nice and so was the complimentary shower products. The staff were very friendly and the wifi was fast.
The tariff is very competitive indeed for accommodation so close to the Sydney CBD. The location is very close to the Neutral Bay ferry terminal. Good views of the harbour. Within walking distance of Kirribilli shopping precinct. The room was large with modern, clean contemporary bathroom. The bed was king size and comfortable. The WiFi reception was good.
We stayed here because CBD pricing was exuberant due to a city marathon the following morning so it was a bit of a mission returning to Olympic Park after a night in the city however this is no fault of the hotel but something to keep in mind for others. Staff were lovely. Parking convenient but pricey. Bed was comfortable.
This is a brand new hotel which offers exceptionally good suites at great location at amazing price! It is surrounded by the grocery stores, great places for dining and coffee and literary on the strain station that gets you to Sydney CBD in only 4 stops. Wonderful stuff, very helpful and kind.
In CBD, within walking distance for lots of shops and restaurants. Right next to train station and buses. Cheap compared to other hotels. Most staff were very lovely. Easy to get in and out. Breakfast packs were so good- included muffin, yoghurt, fruit, muesli bar and juice.
A lovely renovated hotel with rooms overlooking the airport or the city in the distance. Suggest taking the shuttle from the airline as the taxi's to the airport hotels are a complete rip off. Were charged over $50 for a five minute ride. The shuttle is $10 per person.
Sydney Central Business District, Sydney
Location is perfect for the Sydney CBD. Room is cosy and has great design touches. Overall interior design is up there with luxury design hotels. Bar and and upstairs restaurant is a unique rooftop style experience rare to find in Sydney
Novotel Sydney Airport Hotel is very close and handy to the Airport, Wolli Train Station and Woolworth Supermarket. The Hotel Breakfast is adequate and the restaurant is well catered for. The Housekeeping lets this Hotel down.
The property is 10/10 better than most Cbd hotels bathroom is large it’s well lit you also have modern touches and food is close by. Staff even brought up my food for me every time I ordered something
We loved the views from the hotel room of Darling Harbour (Darling Harbour 1 Bedroom Suite). We loved how close it was to Darling Harbour and the ability to walk to almost anywhere in Sydney CBD.
The location is wonderful, right in the hear of Sydney's CBD. The hotel is well kept and staffed by friendly and very helpful people. The breakfast buffet is way above average.
Easy walk from the train station from CBD to the hotel. Then easy shuttle from hotel to airport the next day ($10 per person). Staff were very friendly.
Good hotel great location and staff Not sure it was worth 5 star price tag as other hotels in area and CBD are very similar at less
I like that it’s relatively close to the Olympic Park facilities, train station & the food shops at the other hotels
