Le Château de Rendeux, hotel in Marcouray

Set in a small, renovated castle overlooking the Ourthe River, Le Château de Rendeux provides nostalgic charm in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. Its restaurant offers French gastronomy.

Beautiful building in a quiet, atmospheric location - perfect for an overnight stay. Very good continental breakfast and the lady who welcomed us and served breakfast was friendly and attentive. Although the hotel cannot offer restaurant facilities the town of Hotton which has very good restaurants is only 10 minutes' drive away

Marcouray itself is a very small and quiet hamlet.

Marcouray itself is a very small and quiet hamlet. There are no shops or restaurants and no noisy traffic. It is only 2 km from the slightly bigger Marcourt where there is a bakery and a restaurant. Just one thing : if you are cycling down the hill to Marcourt make sure you have very good brakes! We loved walking down but only risked riding down once and that was enough!!
