Staff is excellent, very professional, helpful and polite (reception, restaurant, bar....). I have asked for a quiet room and I really got a quiet room (very rare in other hotels that they take this request seriously). Thank you again for this! What a nice surprise, finally a swimming pool that is not ice-cold! The temperature of the water is just perfect even for people with RA! Separated time frame for children that makes possible to relax in the SPA + pool and enjoy the beautiful view. Decoration is top in the hotel. A lot of parking place. Billiard table to enjoy the evening. Bar (+ barmen) is also very nice, prices are reasonable. Super atmosphere. Absolutely recommended.

Relaxing holidays, kids loved it. Free minigolf.
Walking distance from the center. Assigned parking in front of the door.
It gives the feeling of a winter holidays house for the architecture and material used. Besides, heating was already on despite the nice weather

We loved everything. The friendly staff, the room and the spa facilities. Breakfast and lunch were also great! If you wish to totally relax and rejuvenate, this is the perfect place. We loved that we could stay past check out time to enjoy the spa. We'll definitely come back!

The location is excellent, right in the middle of town, and easy to walk everywhere.

i booked a taxi not from the hotel and had to come at 6.00am to go to the airport, did not show up.
since there are no taxis in the area the receptionist offered me to take me to the airport himself.

City is worth one day of your life.
City is worth one day of your life. Some pretty places, sometimes ugly but photogenic. Nice walking along the riverside. Unpleasant atmosphere (drug addicts, homeless immigrants) near new (beautiful) train station. Nice for a day... 'interesting' but wouldn't want to live there for a longer period.

Left booking late, wanted to stay in Dinant but Namur ended up being so much better, the cable car up to the Citadel, the restaurants, the river, just an amazing place to visit. Talking of Dinant, easy train trip to go visit the Leffe museum, well worth it

We rented bikes and did kayak but the city offers way more.
It’s really romantic, you have amazing spots and good restaurants.
I really recommend it to escape from the city to immerse yourself in the nature

Interesting riverside town with many restaurants and bars.Unfortunately the cable to the Citadelle was closed during our visit. I'm sure it would be have been worth it for the view but it was quite expensive. a good sopover for us on our way to the ferry.

Transportation to and from Brussels is well organized with the IC trains. We got "Train+" discount card for 1 month (4 euro), even though we stayed just for a week, bc the discount paid off!
Do keep in mind it's an hour ride to Brussels, though. We had to do that every day, even when visiting other cities like Bruge or Gent, bc all of the trains for these destinations depart from Brussels actually.
So I am not so sure we actuslly saved money on accommodation (hotel was cheaper than Brussels), bc we probably spent them on all those train tickets...
ALSO, idk if it was the neighborhood we mostly stayed in (near Central Station), or the city in general - it was very SKETCHY. I saw drug-dealing with my own eyes. Would not walk alone at night. Thank God I was with my partner!
One of the days I was in Brussels, my partner and our friend spent it in Charleroi by visiting a church, a park and a Contemporary Art Museum, and they pretty much liked the experience ^^
First day we ate at the shopping center right next to the Central Station, but it was pricey.
We also shopped at the 24/7 "Raza supermarket" which saved our dinner one night!
BUT I was not pleased to find out that for our last night, even though we had moved to a hotel closer to airport for our early flight, that didn't make our transportation to the airport easier, but harder T.T Ended up having to get a taxi for 24 f****ing EUR, when we were told over phone by operator it would cost 13!!!!!

Interesting little city, a bit in its dead days unfortunately. Some old beautiful buildings, once it was more thought after. The theme Spa is nice. We had a great experience at a restaurant, the Seraphina.

such a lovely peaceful town, with good restaurants, ice cream cafes and bars by the river, overlooking the castle that is illuminated in the evening. The little tourist train takes you on a journey up to the nature park and back round the town. There are different walks at various levels on a map by the river and the park is small but outstanding, a real pleasure to relax in or just walk through.

We were just passing through and only staying one night so we didn't really see Malmedy at all. However, the apartment was very Beautiful and clean and airy and bright and the location was very good, being about 1 km outside the town up on the hill in the countryside

The city of Mons is one of those towns that is overlooked in Belgium. You can use this small villa as a hub to go and visit the nearby towns. The train station was recently updated beautifully. You can reach Brussels in one hour from Mons by train. Either in winter or summer, Mons is worth a visit.

The castle was amazing - we spent several hours there and loved the falconry display - saw two displays which were different. Commentary was only in French or Dutch, so I was glad to be able to follow most of the French - but visually it would have been interesting anyway.
