I loved the comic book theme of the hotel. It looked beautiful on the lobby, the corridors, and the rooms themselves. Breakfast was well above average, and coffee/tea well available at any time, even outside breakfast hours. The lobby was comfortable and we spend several hours relaxing after hours or working with colleagues.

FAQs about hotels in Liège

A Modern City with Historic Treasures

Located near the borders with the Netherlands and Germany, on the Meuse River, the university city of Liège is the largest in Wallonia. This inviting destination has a historic centre with brilliant monuments and flea markets.

Birthplace of the Emperor Charlemagne, French-speaking Liège is popular for the traditional Liégeois puppets and the long stairway of the Montagne de Bueren. La Batte is a large Sunday waterfront open-air market with everything a traveller could imagine like local food, clothes and books.

The 10th-century palace of the prince-bishops is a magnificent building with two courtyards. Visitors should not miss the iconic Fragnee Bridge and Liège Cathedral.  Also known as St. Paul's Cathedral, this Gothic structure was restored in the 19th century and is home to historic treasures.

Liège-Guillemins railway station has train connections to major European cities like Brussels, Paris, Cologne and Frankfurt. The third largest airport in Belgium, Liège Airport is just 8 km from the city centre and offers flights to Amsterdam, London and Antalya.

The Dutch city of Maastricht is about 34 km away and Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, apartment or guest house in Liège and the surrounding areas.

City is worth one day of your life.

City is worth one day of your life. Some pretty places, sometimes ugly but photogenic. Nice walking along the riverside. Unpleasant atmosphere (drug addicts, homeless immigrants) near new (beautiful) train station. Nice for a day... 'interesting' but wouldn't want to live there for a longer period.

Lively town with a good selection of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. If you have a car, this is a great little town to stay in, with a 40 minute drive to Spa-Francochamps to watch the Formula 1 / Motorsport.

Crazy city.

Crazy city. A lot of attitude, a lot of rubbish, a lot of beautiful buildings, a lot of culture… Liège is truly a complicated city. But while it’s not a perfect tourist destination like Bruges, in many ways it’s a lot more interesting and complex. For this I would say it’s worth visiting to appreciate “Le cité ardente”, as long as you are ok with the dynamism.

Liege for a day is already enough.

Liege for a day is already enough. The city did not impress me. As i stayed 3 days and a half i went to Namur, Dinant! A must! Gorgeous and nor far from liege. In 1 day i did borh cities. Another day i went to Durbuy but its an hour walk from the station to Durbuy, and its all the way up to go. Inthe way back is chill. Through the nature very nice. You can take a taxi for 40 euros from durbuy to the station. If you want to go to Durbuy from the train station by taxi call the information service in durbuy

If you like keeping fit then a daily lung bursting ascent up the mont de Bueren is definitely recommended. The côtières de la cité take you into the countryside on the edge of a bustling city while the Outremeuse has some lovely green spaces and an excellent art gallery - all within walking distance. Many more interesting museums to explore too. The very modern and efficient tram system takes you to and from the main station at Guillemins

Location near amazing Gare des Guillemins. Room was small but with pretty modern design & good view from the 3rd floor window (room 330) Shower cabin was comfortable, water was hot. Curtains were dark enough. Wi-Fi was stable & fast. Personnel were polite & helpful 👍🏻 P.S. The hotel is held by Indians, they even have Indian restaurant on the basic floor.

To be honest one if the best hostels i have ever been. The entrance area looks even more like a business hotel. Rooms are clean and with privacy because of the curtains. Even ear plugs are provided and the location is nearby the train station easy to reach.
