Great hotel in a historic town in Bulgaria. Great size room and bathroom. Top notch hospitality at all hours of the day and night. Also, the ground floor had a pleasant surprise, a souvenir shop with authentic Bulgarian clay pots and other merchandise. We will definitely be back.

I was in the area to visit the Buzludzha Monument, and this hotel is right at the top of Shipka Pass, which means it was right at the start of one of the two roads up to the monument. I was there between seasons, and the proprietor basically opened up just for me, had a nice room waiting with a heater, and made me a lovely bowl of soup. Looks like this place would be super fun during trekking season, with a bar restaurant and game room, huge wood burning stove and pool table. Great off the beaten track experience, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved the place, the location- right in the middle of town. We were family of 4- 2 adults and 2 kids. We had 2 separate rooms, also a living room and all equipped kitchen! The place was lovely, clean, fresh towels and sheets, nice shower, the owners were very nice and helpful! Recommend to all! Loved our stay!
