This elegant hotel is located only a 15-minute drive from Lucerne and a 2-minute walk from the train station. It offers modern wellness facilities, free parking and a large terrace.
Just about everything was perfect - a lovely old hotel that has been tastefully updated. Room exactly as expected, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom modern and real glass drinking glasses were provided. Dinner was excellent at the restaurant, breakfast the usual buffet but well done. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Location perfect just up the street from the lake and the center but very quiet neighborhood.
We stayed in a triple room in the Paxmontana Gasthaus although breakfast and welcome drink were offered in the main hotel. The location is wonderful. We were so happy we booked that hotel in this peaceful location surrounded by this beautiful greenery and walking paths. The staff is very efficient and kind.

Nostalgic and absolute relaxation. Everywhere was clean and there was no trace of dirt in any corner. The parking lot led to the hotel. The restaurant staff were polite and respectful. The hotel has an old and mysterious story that makes you feel as if you have stepped into an old movie.
