It is a small island in the North Sea.
It is a small island in the North Sea. I was a bit worried it would be too cold but it was fine. The climate is very pleasant. In one week we only had one day with a bit of rain.The always present wind is not too bad.Ther are many toursits but it is not a problem.There are plenty of things to do.There are many restaurants to choose from.The historic little train is brilliant.Ferry connections to the mainland are frequent. Rented bicycles are the most popular means of transport but we just walked which was not a problem.Borkum also has a public bus and plenty of affordable taxis.HeidiNew Zealand

The beds were firm and comfortable and we had enough space for our family in the junior suite. The location is perfect, in the center of town, close to beaches, shops and museums but not a loud street. The train is close by and can be noisy a few times per day but not too early or in the evening. The breakfast was wonderful!

The hotel it's next to the dunes, in a quiet and peaceful place, in the middle of nature. Easy access by bus from the centre or the best option is to have a bike and take the trails all around the island. Incredible weekend!
