A pleasant town and the Waldsee hotel is in the quietest part by the lake, surrounded by a very well planned and signed nature reserve, woods and lots of hiking and biking trails. It is a good base for visiting the Allgau countryside (lots of info on regional trails to follow) and, in our case, looking around some of the many baroque churches.

We're family of four and stayed for a night. Facility was much more modern and new than I expected.
Hotel uses card key and elevator is brand new like you see in city buildings.
Room was not the biggest but still quite spacious enough.
Hotel has its dedicated parking spaces right next to the building.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and service was kind and warm.

The owner/manager is very polite and welcoming. The location of the hotel is really nice, on a secluded small lake, far from the crowds. The hotel retains an appealing classical style, but has been renovated inside. Especially the restaurant with view of the lake is gorgeous. Large convenient parking around the property.
Hotel Bayerischer Hof welcomed us for a short business stay in Lindenberg. The hotel is full of local charm and staff were super welcoming and friendly! The location was perfect, middle in Lindenberg and dinner and breakfast were great! I would definitely stay again on the next visit!
The staffs are very friendly and helpful there. Surprisingly they have a very decent sauna room at the basement. Simple and clean. The food of warm kitchen is also very good. The hotel is right facing Waldsee, the rooms facing the lake has awesome view.

Awesome location, one of the most beautiful locations in this area. The hotel is a bit removed from the town, but not that much. There's a small hill dividing the town with this area. It's very quiet and peaceful.
The hotel was clean and well presented. Rooms are small/basic but comfortable enough. The restaurant was good and the staff on the floor were really friendly and helpful.
This was my second stay at this hotel. First time was fantastic, clean and comfortable rooms, superb kitchen. Thats why I have decided to stay here again.
