Room was very nice, 10 min walk from shopping center where is Kaufland, Aldi, LiDl, few places to eat (McDonald's, couple of Chinese food places and some others) and some more shops like Takko, Media Markt etc. There's a bus stop near the hotel and bus goes to old town every hour. Large parking place. Breakfast is reasonable. Access to airport by bus is OK, You have to go with one bus to Bahnhof and then with another bus to airport, takes about 1 hour.

The Hotel Engelkeller provides modern rooms, free parking spaces, and a restaurant serving local cuisine. It is located in Memmingen town center, just a 10-minute walk from the train station.
Good location for people using Memmingerberg airport.
Good location for people using Memmingerberg airport. Unfortunately there was no staff to help despite us informing them of our arrival time. We had asked that we would need a taxi to take us back to the airport at 5 a.m. but there was no one there to help us. We (two people in our mid seventies) were faced with a kilometre walk, dragging our luggage to the airport at 5 a.m. in the morning when it was cold, dark and damp. Get some staff or at least provide notices with info on things like taxis and how to get help with problems that occur.

We in Lviv (and, more general, in Ukraine) know Memmingen...
We in Lviv (and, more general, in Ukraine) know Memmingen mostly as the place of the airport for Wizzair flights from Ukrainian cities.
However, Memmingen itself is a "German-German" city, well-preserved historical sight with a flavour of the old Germany and Bayern.
After crowded and sometimes not very hospital Munich we appreciated that worm welcome we had during our short stay.
I wish we could learn more about this city and I believe we will spend more time there, next time.

Very near to the airport of Memmingem. Good place to saty if you have an early flight.
Very clean, comfortable beds and rooms. Clean bathrooms.
We had an early flight and request for an early breakfast. The breakfast was ready for us at 5.00 am with fruits, sandwich and beverage for our kid and us.

Having the chance to visit the town centre for the evening...
Having the chance to visit the town centre for the evening was a bonus as being here wasn't the point of my trip, I was only transiting through and had an early flight out the following morning. I recommend Skybar as a place to eat and have a few drinks in the town centre.

There are a lamps and was good to walk with my suitcase with wheels,so i arrive evening very late.

a very small town nothing to see. If you have an opportunity to go to Munich or your other destination - do it as soon as possible. Many buses go right from the airport to other locations, and many people, arriving at the airport have their cars parked neaby, ask them to give you a lift, but rather don't stay in the town. You'll just waste your time.
