The host and hostess of the property met us at the train station when we arrived and showed us to the property which was a huge help. It made all the difference that they were available to answer any questions we had and attend to any other needs we had. Human contact and service makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

Magnificent hotel!
Magnificent hotel! The building and interior design were work of art! The view of winery from the rooms were stunning. The staff were all very friendly. We were welcomed with a glass of Cava and our mini bar was supplied with a bottle of cava and water every day. The breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable. There was a great walking track around the hotel in the winery and up to a hill with a great view over the wineries and the town. The dinner menu was variable and the food was delicious. Drinks (sparkling, white and red wines plus still water) were included in the very reasonable price of lunch and dinner made it almost "too good to be true." The wine tour and tasting was very good. Reception staff were very helpful organising other wine tours for us. Will definitely recommend this place and it's heaven for wine lovers!

It was an easy stroll to take in the character of the town centre where we found great tapas and people watching sidewalk cafes
The hotel itself was clean, quiet and well appointed with an ample breakfast included.
The only negative was the cost of the parking at the facility across the road from the hotel

A pretty town, full of history and culture.
A pretty town, full of history and culture. Easy to walk around and explore. A perfect location from which to explore the region and understand more about Catalonia - past and present. The wine museum is well worth a visit before exploring the local cava bodegas. And if in town on a Saturday, the market is a treat, it literally fills the streets!

Vilafranca is in the heart of the major Catalan wine producing region and a great base for learning about the region's cavas and wines and visiting wineries. The old town center is attractive and pedestrian. It's not far from popular beaches and monasteries.

The staff especially the kitchen chefs and waiters and how it was very important to them that we enjoyed our stay and accommodated our dietary needs. Maria Torres at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The room we stayed in was the jacuzzi room which is the best room in this hotel and we were so happy we reserved this room. There were a flight of steps that led down to the dinning area just outside of our room so we didn't need to go down to the end of the hall to get an elevator.
breakfast was excellent, lots of food and good friendly service.
Lunch was the same.
evening meal exceeded all expectations for the gourmet menu, which included cava's and wine.
The staff were all very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. It was our 50th wedding anniversary whilst at the hotel and we were given lots of extras. With all of the staff going the extra mile.
We moved this booking to fit with a wedding party so actually stayed in the sister hotel: Hotel Sercotel Pere III El Gran.... it was BRILLIANT!. It was perfectly located to see the town and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was tidy, clean and very well sized (although we did have a suite.. so not sure of the size of a regular room).
The location was fairly close to the centre and other shops and bars. The Pension has its own bar and restaurant with nice food, and it wasn't noisy in the room. The room was also modern and comfortable. A welcome alternative to a more expensive hotel, especially for myself as a solo traveller.
We really liked this hotel and thus we came back. Quick check-in and very friendly staff. Good dinner in the evening and good breakfast. Quiet and spacious room. Convenient parking in front of the building. If again in the area, we will come back.
Not only is the hotel totally unique in its design, the staff are what made this a truly unique experience. We were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked through the door until we checked out. 5 star service!
Although the hotel decor is a bit on the older side, the room was extremely clean and we had a comfortable night’s stay here. Quiet room with decent black out blinds. Hotel is walking distance to the town centre.
My first time coming to the area for work and the location could hardly be better. Everything is walkable from the hotel, including a slew of good restaurants.
