It was a beautiful location in a historic chateau. The owners were very kind and gave us a history of the chateau. It was very interesting. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice selection and we had a lovely walk around the grounds.

Straightforward business/value hotel. Good function. Helpful front desk, clean room, comfortable bed, good bathroom, entirely satisfactory breakfast. The air conditioning was locked at 22 degrees C. That's a little too warm for me, only a degree or two but those are important degrees. The location was a typical location out of the center, neither bad nor good. Lots of parking available, which is nice. I would stay here again. It wasn't fabulous but they aren't charging fabulous prices. Everything was correct.

We went to sleep with the view from our window of a full moon just across the river. Incredible place to stay, so much history! The restaurant is also extremely beautiful. Will definitely recommend it.

We loved everything about this property. Beautiful to start and the owner could not be any kinder. She made us coffee when we arrived. The place is just beautiful with a fire going when we arrived and lovely personalized welcome with our names written on leaves. Lovely Home made cookies. The rooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. Lots of space and the garden and courtyard just lovely. Honestly you can’t go wrong staying Here.

    Baccon is a tiny village in the country.

    Baccon is a tiny village in the country. We enjoyed the peace, quiet, and beauty at the chateau where we stayed, then went into the nearby small town of Beaugency to explore and have dinner. There are several restaurants and some historic sights (a Roman tower, a chateau) there. Charming and definitely off the usual tourist track.
