It was annoying to find out that the room is cleaned only for an extra charge. The room required some cleaning, especially under the bed, where it was obvious that they did not clean for a very long time. Take into account about 20 minutes walk to the train station.

The residential area was very pleasant, but my only reason for staying was the conference on the ile des impressionnistes nearby. That location in itself was interesting, but I did not explore Chatou enough to recommend or otherwise.DavidUnited Kingdom
