We were visiting for a sporting competition south of Bratislava. Not much in area, only good for brief stop over, would say to other travellers.Cannot empathise enough how unclean shower and toilet were and no willingness to rectify it

Hegyeshalom is perfectly located near the Austrian border, a few minutes off the main highway. Check-in was smooth. Accommodation is surprisingly spacious and exceptionally clean. The only thing which was not provided was shower gel and/or shampoo. All in all this place offers super good value for money

Rooms are alright, restaurant is great but the staff is a bit sick and tired of tourists... specially stranger ones. The receptionist Horvath Nora treated us badly and insisted that we have to wait till 14h and by that hour she refused to speak English. She kept us outside even if it was hot and we were with child just from pure ambition. Not that there was no room or something. Anyway it is a pity because otherwise the location is ok.

Very basic accommodation.
Very basic accommodation. Kitchen poor, only 3 cereal plates and a small amount of cutlery, no sharp knives. Kettle and microwave only, could have done with a hot plate.
General area beautifully tiled.
Car parking excellent with electric gates.
Our phone had no reception so could not contact owner when we arrived, luckily their next door neighbour was kind enough to phone for us. When we were leaving another renter was also having the same problem. Should be a better way!!
Very nice hotel close to the highway. The garden is beautiful. The interior is interesting, with lots of hunting trophies. The room was spacious, clean, quiet. The breakfast was nice, and the parking is free. They waited us an hour and a half after check in deadline, which was very appreciated.
The breakfast was in the Paprika Hotel, which is right next to the M1 Paprika Hotel. This room was much better, cleaner and modern than the room we had before at the Paprika Hotel. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice. Good location; right next to the highway.
The staff members were indeed very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel offers parking equipped with video surveillance and a guard, providing a sense of security. The breakfast provided was sufficient, offering enough options to satisfy hunger.
Clean room, comfortable beds and shower, modern and kind interior desing, parking space right near the hotel. Location - close to a highway, which is convenient when you travel and need to have a sleep without loosing time entering some town or city.
I would rate this hotel as an above-average no-frills transit hotel. Easy access from the highway, friendly personel, nice restaurant with good food (used it for dinner and breakfast). On top of that, the rooms are quite clean and not too cramped.
The hotel is clean and the personnel is friendly. They speak very well english. I can recomend this hotel for families with children. The breakfast was excellent (eggs, sausages..). Maybe could be better sellection of hot meals in the evening.
We booked the room for transit at Paprika M1 hotel and have 2 hours delay caused by traffic. We arrived late in the night but the receptionist was very polite and helpful. The room was cristal clean and comfortable and quiet.
It's a budget hotel. All the negative reviews are just unreasonable. You pay for what you get. It's the cheapest in the area. Comfy clean beds, clean bathroom. Balcony parking no issues whatsoever
It was nice. The fact that the location is near highway is perfect for transition. The bed was confortable and the bathroom was clean. The parking was safe. I really recomand this hotel.
We´ve chosen the hotel basically for the location, being close to the highway, as we were in transit. The hotel has a very beautiful garden and terrace, with many flowers around.
Very good location of the hotel for those transiting Hungary to Romania.
The parking lot is guarded.
The restaurant has a rich menu.
Breakfast not very varied, but good
No matter which time you are accepted by the hotel. We ware stuck at Serbia Hungary and arrived at 1 a clock in the night and it was no problem by the hotel 👌 👍
