We were there on the last weekend of the summer season before the amusement park was scheduled to shut down so there were still lots of people and activities available. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. The beach is spacious but rocky and there are lots of rails to hike as well as just walking on the paths around town. Only 15-20 minutes to Waterford and the attractions there. A nice quiet place to stay with easy access to things to do.

Tramore is a beautiful town with something in it for people of all ages and tastes, scenic drives and walkways and also the little funfair and indoor swimming pool. There are a great selection of eateries and bars also to whet one's appetite. The beach is lovely, lots of space, it rarely feels crowded. I look forward to visiting Tramore again soon.

Originally from waterford & not been to tramore in a few years. Council could do with raking the beach as now full of stones/rocks. Need flip flops to walk beach to get to water & this was never the case years ago. Japanese garden is a must see. Plenty of bars cafes to eat & price friendly

Tramore is beautiful, regardless of the weather.

Tramore is beautiful, regardless of the weather. If you are the sort of person who wants the beauty of what our amazing country has to offer then Tramore gives that. Waterford City is easily accessible by a short drive and I highly recommend the Waterford Crystal tour. the Majestic Hotel was where we stayed and the place is gorgeous. The food was lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly - there is also an Aldi near it for any forgotten essentials you may need. 10/10 all round for us

We stayed at many B&Bs during our trip, and Dílis Go Bráth was by far our favorite! Martin was a wonderful host and we very much enjoyed our time in Tramore. The location was excellent - quiet for a good night's rest, but not far from the main streets - and Martin gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in town. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and breakfast outstanding. Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area!!

We stayed in an adjoining building to the hotel as opposed to the hotel itself. The whole place was a little dated, but it was clean, cozy, and convenient. The bed in our room was actually two twin beds secured together. It was comfortable if you stayed on either side. Breakfast was very good, and the staff that served us every morning couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming.

Thanks for the lovely hospitality from both hosts. Loved how there was tea and coffee available with the cookies on offer. Absolutely loved the breakfast in the morning and felt like we were really well looked after. Would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone looking for a nights stay in Tramore. This B&B was better than any hotel on offer in the area!

Anne and Tom are excellent hosts and made our very brief stay most enjoyable. The property is well located in a quiet area close to the Tramore beach and while parking was a little bit tight it was fine. We would certainly stay at Fernhill House again if we ever return to Tramore.

The breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant overall was great. Amazing views if you get good enough weather to sit outside. Definitely go to this restaurant, even if you're not staying at this hotel. The location is ideal, minutes away from the beach. Walking distance.

Tramore was way more charming than we expected! The room was quiet, even if it was situated on a main street. The owner assured us we "wouldn't go hungry" and he was right, breakfast was huge!
