-Luca is an excellent host. He took really good care of us throughout our stay.
-The flat us huge and it's in a house directly on the lake. You can see the water from the living room and one of the 2 bedrooms.
-Access to the water and a garden above the small beach.
-Dedicated parking spot.

The location in the mountains is beautiful. You have to park the car below and walk up a stone pathway for 10mins to get to the property. If you have luggae this will be brought up...you dont need to carry it.
There is a restaurant where you could have dinner. Its not open everyday so make sure to check before booking. The food there is very good with a set menu.

Calm place, there is a nice beach and park, views to lake and to mountains, there are cafes and restaurants available, also the train station is close. I found it cheaper than other towns and with less tourists.
Good place for spending some time and make trips to other placed of interest (Lecco, Milan and others).
You can go directly to Milan via train (about 5 Euros one way and 1 h time to reach)
Lecco is 10 min away with train, easy to visit Bellagio (by water ferry) there is a ferry stop in Mandello, also You can go visit Varrena, Bellano by train, or go to Lecco and to get to mountains via funicular and make some hiking or have a picnic with views to Como lake or to mountains

Nice small town on Como lake with charming restaurants and beach. Little bit missing pomenade along the lake as Varena or Mennagio are having, but overall very pleasant place to stay. And bonus- it is just like 10-15 min train drive to Varena😊
Mamma Ciccia bistro/restaurant was recommended to us and I can really recomend it further

Mandello Del Lario has all the charm and authenticity of the villages of Lake Como without the crowds. The cherry on top is the Moto Guzzi museum. Mandello Del Lario has everything to like and nothing not to like - heaven on the shores of Lake Como.

This is the home of Motor Guzzi, and you can visit the museum there. It is easy to get around and visit the lake. We ate Hotel Al Verde and the food was excellent.
There is a train to the town, and the loop road around the lake to follow North.

We were staying in Olcio, small and peaceful village with Gelateria, Restaurant, Trattoria and campo sportivo. There is a train stop to Lecco, Milan and other direction of the Eastern part of the lake. It is close to Sentiero del Viandante and located in the middle of L'Anello di Olcio.

This hotel provided us with a perfect stay next to the lake, they were kind enough to upgrade our room upon arrival as we had our 9 month old baby with us, the grounds of the hotel are really beautiful and scenic, the staff were all wonderful and because of the limited number of rooms it felt very private. we were interested in doing some hiking in nature and managed to find a couple of lovely paths not far from the hotel, would happily recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the area.
We booked both double room and apartments for the weekend. Apartments were very clean,everything is new,modern,and we had a lot of space for clothes. Very nice view to mountains. 5 min walk to the lake. Amenities of hotel were also very good - proper Wi-Fi, air conditioning, etc. You can definitely comfortably stay in this hotel for proper long vacation. Also, stuff was amazing, very helpful and nice. I would highly recommend staying there.

I'm in utter awe! Property is just amazing, everything was sparkling clean and well though-through. The smell in apartment was exceptional (specially I enjoyed the smell of shower gel, just like in luxury hotels). There's a dedicated workspace with the lamp and more than enough sockets. Owner Marco is careful to details, so he prepared everything that tourist might need in any situation.
Mama Ciccia was a great place in such a cute town. It was away from the busier towns. We were able to make the beautiful drive of 20 minutes Varenna where there was a parking garage. From there we took the ferry to some of the other towns on Lake Como. The hotel restaurant was great and everyone was super friendly. I wish we would have stayed longer than one night. We loved it.
The room was absolutely stunning, and spotless. It had everything you could need including breakfast snacks, a hairdryer, coffee machine etc. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was just amazing, especially the shower!! Roberto was a fantastic host and available on WhatsApp with recommendations of restaurants (I went out of season and the hotel restaurant was shut sadly!)
The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to the port. Enrica is really helpful and kind. She tried to help us even with the things that she is not responsible of. There are good facilities in the room, even milk frother and milk besides some snacks. There were all free of charge. The room seems cozy and well-designed. I like it very much.
The view was spectacular and it was lovely to wake up in the morning to see all the wildlife and fishermen. It is in a rare place in Mandello del Lario where you can actually get down to the water and see up and down the lake. It is right at the centre of the old town and the subject of many photos.

The hotel was located right in the centre of town, making it idea to explore the surroundings. The room was excellent and had everything I needed for my stay. I was also allowed to book garage space for my motorcycle and was guided to the garage.
Wonderful central location in the quieter town of Mandello Del Lario. Close to train, beach, restaurants, ferry. Beautiful spacious apartment, lovely decor, super clean and most of all wonderful host Anna. We had a such a relaxing time.
The view was very beautiful. The beach, restaurants, bars, bakeries were very close to the apartment. There is also a ferry station very close to the apartment. The hotel staff was very kind and even provided us with a Wi-Fi/4G router.

Early morning breakfast overlooking the mountain was the true highlight of our stay. The hotel is quite small and we were lucky to be one of the few guests in site, making for a private relaxing experience.
This quintessential little place was a perfect spot for a relaxing stay. Mandello Del Lario is a delightful town away from the chaos in Lecco and even in the busy month of July it didn't feel overcrowded.
Great view, the host was amazing and caring! The breakfast is nice and the rooms are comfortable. Free parking. There is a park near the hotel for kids to play.
The staff, location and property itself were just spectacular. We could jot recommend this hotel more! The boat excursion was one of the highlights of our trip!
